try at your own risk , best is see and learn when a mech is doing a full service . then you'll know how to take it out and put it back in .

 

no lar...just want to know where is it...not going to touch it or anything..

just replaced back the air box bro...have a thorough checks by mechs or maybe ur frenx...they can tell u what is good for the bike...it not costly either & can actually be done by yourself. But best to get it done with fellow riders alike...at least your frenx wont chop u rite?? go to shops with those lau-cheow frenx...shop mechs want to chop u...ask ur frenx chop them...hahahhahahh....

thanks thanks .. i'm not really sure but the mechanic says that the block makes my bike slow (not really up to speed) and the air box was taken away by the previous owner .. so i have to sorta fix it ..

 

can i make do without the air box ? where exactly is the air box btw ?

the airbox is like an air filter before ur engine takes in the air for combustion of fuel.

its suppose to have some kind of sponge or filter in the airbox

 

some pple take out the filter in the airbox (including me) so that air can pass thru easier and combustion of fuel wud be smoother i guess

 

some pple also take out the whole airbox and replace it with a power filter

look into ur bike around under ur seat

u sure ur bike dun even have a filter there ? like a small mushroom metal filter there ?

all SP block r same unless previous owner put phantom block for u..

 

the block itself cost $350 and piston and piston ring may b another $100 to $150?

 

all these change r equal to "overhaul" liao.. u prepare to fork up $800... may b got some changes..
