the old FV number plate has been transferred out already.

and also, the bike has been laid up before.

need some help here,i just try my bike top speed but i only reach 160.is there any other things i can change to increase the speed?i have change my spocket to 40 today and my rear tyre is big one(s4 front tyre).if let say i change my tyres to the normal one and change the filter to k&n will it be better?coz my frens pick up faster than mine and their speed also win me i also dun knw where go wrong man...

front sprocket wad size? 40 for rear, is more to pick up leh. and ur bike still lose to ur frens on pick up, then could be settings.

first of all, thanks to those who answered my call of need.e.g nGuOrEn..etc

Here is my experience on what happen to me.

 

On thursday(yesterday) morning at around 8am,i ride bike go school,my fren lompang me.

Considered we were early for school. road quite wet.I ride slow2 at expressway cos i running in my engine. I just got a new gearbox. my speed was 80km/h till i reaching BKE exit Woodlands ave 3. I drop gear from 5 to 4 to 3. brake2 a bit. my speed was around 30-35km/h e last time i took a look. I thought i was slow enough. but suddenly all e vehicle suddenly jam break.

I could see brake lights from all cars very bright red.I quickly tried brake(gradually). check blindspot to change lane. but when i look straight back,i was too near to this mazda 3.so i jam break.my asspee skid forward(i didnt feel e back of e bike swerving). The front tire hit the rear bumper of e mazda. my pillion got to jump before i crash.he lesser injuries compared to me.

 

Wah,i shocked when i see my bike shattered.(list of damage at page 957)first paramedic come.then police.

i don't know why the person i bang into call e police.(which i think may get more demerit pts for me). Take statement,i just remained calm along with my fren, push bike to road shoulder.

 

i was confused on whether ask my insurance pay him or private settlement. After consulting ppl a lot. I found out that INSURANCE PREMIUM WILL NOT BE INCREASED IF CLAIM LESS THAN $3000.This was said to me by car shop person.Hopefully what she say is true.Since my insurance only third party,can i ask e insurance pay for my bike repair?(i not sure abt tis)

 

Planning to call IDAC,then my ntuc insurance, then ask bike repair my cike for me(recommend good shops can?).....

Actually if the injuries are minor..Which I think it is since you can still push your bike to the road shoulder with ease..Then no need to involvwe police or paramedics..Can actually just settle it privately by exchangin contacts..

 

Don't think you can ask your insurance company to pay for your bike as its only Third Party..Which means it covers damages for the person involved with you in the accident..So you'll have to fork out $$ from your own pockets for your bike repairs..As for premium never go up as long as damages don't exceed $3000..I dunno how true that is but it sounds kinda bullshit to me..If it is then good for you of coz..

 

IDAC will prolly ask you to go over to assess the damages..

you kiss other pple backside, you are in the wrong.

your own bike repair is at your own cost. 3rd party insurance does not cover own accidents and/or acts of God.

 

insurance premium WILL BE INCREASED as long as a claim is made against the policyholder. also, in your case, you are not in a position to decide as you will not be the one making the claim. fyi, claims made by cars usually are in the excess of $5,000.00

 

since the police have been called in, it is likely you will be slapped with a fine and some demerits points. good luck and remember to keep a safer following distance the next time round.

i think your premium will increase as long as you're being claimed by the other party. and believe me, most people will claim a new paintwork, new bumper even though the dent can be knocked out and repainted. shops will try to help the person claim as much as possible + excess so that it can profit the extra that it managed to claim.

 

you have to fork out the repair costs for your bike yourself. unless you've comprehensive (first party) coverage, then you can claim frm your own insurance (but you've to pay a higher premium the next time you renew it).

 

pillon + wet road = added weight + extra stopping distance required. therefore keep a wider following distance.

hav u found a bikeshop alrdy? can go Planet Motors 67474740 n look for Ah Chong. next time don't look at ur meter unnecessary.. always look infront for the road conditions n vehicles. u nv know when smth might juz pop out of nowhere n u can't react in time.

hi guys, i have a question.. normal when i ride my bike, when i close the throttle, the speed and rpm supposed to drop, but now when i ride and i close throttle the rpm didnt drop it remains the same and the speed is still the same although i have closed the throttle.. it has happened for around 2 days already and i reali feel its very dangerous.. wat could be the problem, could it be the throttle cable needs to change.. thanks in advance..

is it when u release the throttle and it stays?

if so,it's ur grip...it's stucked with the throttle....
