My stock sp last tested to hit a mileage of 276km without reserve.

using msia F1 1.92rm/l.

 

gear one till 5rpm.

gear two-four onward till 5.5-6rpm. (sometime drag to 7rpm only)

gear five till 7rpm travelling at speed of ard 115km.

1) SINGAPORE BIKES FORUM ANNIVERSARY 2007!

 

Date: 29th December 2007 (Saturday)

Venue: Changi Chalet

As usual, we will be preparing prizes and lucky draws for all participants. We are currently seeking sponsorship for the prizes so all draws details to be finalised at a later date.

 

This time round, SBF will be issuing out our very own mechandises, which includes the following:

 

1. SingaporeBikes.com Helmet Sling Bag (Those who attended our event at East Coast Park should have one already)

 

 

2. SingaporeBikes.com Rubber Keychain

 

 

3. Tshirt that screams "SingaporeBikes.com - Where Singaporean Bikers Unite!" (Pics and design to be confirmed later)

 

 

HOWEVER! Quantity is limited and we have prepared 200 sets to be issued out.

There will be a participation fee of SGD$15.00 which will guaranteed you the following:

The management would like to gather members to form groups to join this event as we are planning games to be played inter-group.

Details of games will be disclosed later once we have finalised the games.

In the midst of preparation, we will be gathering products & accessories, including engine oil, for mass ordering & bidding at a very very special price.

2) INVITATION TO ATTEND ANTI-DRINK DRIVE CAMPAIGN 2007

 

The Anti-Drink Drive Campaign 2007 will be launched on 7 December 2007 (Friday) at The Cathay Cineplex (The Cathay, 2 Handy Road, Singapore 29233) at 6.30pm. The Guest-Of-Honour is Mr Heng Chee How, Minister of State, Ministry of Health.

 

2. The objective of this campaign is to educate the public on the dangers of drink riding as well as the serious consequences that could result from it. The campaign will use a variety of communication tools to encourage riders to think about the personal consequences of drink riding and that a drink ride conviction has the potential to ruin their life.

 

Personal consequences includes losing all classes of their driving license, lifestyle changes such as job loss or having to take public transport.

 

3. Traffic Police cordially invites Singapore Bike Forum to nominate 50 or more members from to attend this ceremony.

 

During the launch, there will be a pledge taking ceremony so that we can commit ourselves to the anti-drink ride movement. The attire for the event is smart casual.

 

4. Each guest will receive a goodie bag with attractive items such as cash card, anti slip car mat and others. Traffic Police will be honoured by your organization's representation and I look forward to your nominations.

 

Together, we can make Singapore's roads safer.

i'm just a noob lah,i just happen to do one last time.tat time i did a hard brake using the front brake then i did a stoppie lor.but even i pillion ppl the ppl behind also lift up a bit coz the pillion to slip down.but main reason is tat my front brake is very wet.i f i break too hard i will become like tat.dn believe next time i let ur try lor but bike fall ur pay lah.

You must be goin really fast to get the rear up with a pillion..Out of curiosity..How high did the the rear went up?

 

Why would I wanna try doin that on your bike? I can't do s h i t on a bike..Ever heard of the sayin "Its the rider not the bike"? You seem very capable so why not you give us a demo? Don't be shy la..I'll admit I'm not up to it..Even my bike also not up to it..

powiee used to use the alarm that you're talking about. my key could start his bike. i could sit on the bike gently, kick up the side stand, insert my key, jiggle it a little and switch the ignition on. only when i kick start it then the alarm sounded.. you said a light tap on your front wheel can set the alarm off? quite unbelieveable. even the high end models aren't that sensitive IMO.

I never knew he had an alarm install..Lucky he did not activate it when I was sittin on his bike..

a stoppie is diff from an endo leh.. endo is just, brake the front, the rear goes up and drops straight away. a stoppie is, the rear goes up, and you can maintain it for a distance before dropping.

 

im impressed with ur nsr150's front brake. with pillion also can lift up. impressive (yes i believe it). not many ppl like very 'jiak' brakes nowadays.. and few spend money to use good pads...oh well..

 

 

i used to try doing stoppies on my rvf, can usually maintain 3-5m (ya its very little, scared lah ) before i let it down slowly, nowadays i dont bother to practice more, really destroys ur rear suspension + chain if you come down wrongly :

you can rewrap ur seat (and ur pillion's). beside LIM AH BOY theres a shop doing it. if you think its expensive thou, there are a couple of shops doing seat rewrapping along jln besar also, very close to LIM AH BOY

ya buy got knocking sound liao. my shop.. i ask them solve.. they go freaking set my idling rpm higher to around 1.8k =.= now is about 1.4 - 1.5 loh but still very loud. some say is clutch housing/plate problem. and my sp very jiak you tang ahhhhhh full tank go less than 160.

 

not worst den mine can liao.. full tank w/o reserve only can go ard 100 nia.. sad lo..

softer seats sure give ur buttock painful experience.. coz dun have much sponge.. lol...

mine also lidat..

need to add in more sponge so tat u'll feel comfortable..
