try this shop, asked before, ard $50, 2nd hand. in jurong port road, the mech there also not bad. i always go there.

 

Woah..Jurong is at the other end of Spore for me.

Depend on luck also as they may have it that time but now don't have.

 

Anyone who going to motor shops in the east, can help me keep a lookout if got 2nd hand oiltank?

erm for those duno where is cine open space carpark... it's opposite cineleisure. u have to take a right exit out of orchard road after passing by orchard shopping center (which will be on ur right) the turn right again to enter penang road. then keep right before turning right into a public carpark =)) tadah!

wait, 2t boiling.......? thats kinda weird. i have always thought 2t oil was just supposed to be mixed with petrol. our 2t wont boil under our seat wan leh, it'll only mix with the petrol and combust in the block.

frankly, our 2stroke bikes dont need too high an octane. simply, the higher the octane, the less 'knocking' in ur engine after combustion, and of course, less vibrations (due to a smoother engine) = more power. but we dont really need that high octane in singapore. why?

 

personally i think 2stroke engines arent smooth at all, yes there is a difference if we use ron98 instead of ron95. but the difference is very slight (compared to a bigger cc 4stroke). we wont feel much power difference also since alot of us dont really dare to mod our bikes anyway its just a matter of if its worth the money spend for the so called 'power difference', which is really really very little, for a 150cc 2stroke engine.

 

also, u use ron98 or octane booster, but ur engine is not taken care off also useless la hor?

98 having higher octane will have slightly more power.. feels quite alot to me.

but then 98's mileage wudnt be as good as 95.

 

smaller cc will feel more diff than a big bike ..tats for sure

 

sp pumping petrol 95 is like hmm .. takin an old 1.0 cc car and pump petrol 92 to save money .. then no power like tat .. lolz

 

 

and the octane booster i think is crap ..

used once .. i think it juz affects u physcogically... not practically and physically..

full servicing meaning? what do they do? price?

fx110, decardonise endcan, whats the price in jb?

 

erm... i usually service (change spark plug, eo) every 1500 clicks. then service + wash carb every 3000 clicks. full service every 6months. overhual every year =x lolx tat's for me =)) full service means they take out most of the things to wash lo =x block piston change gasket eo spark plug carb valve etc etc. overhaul they'll change piston head and ring =)) so it's something like getting a new engine! =x

 

thats cheap but don't have much time to source. Any shops to recommend?

And does anyone know LAB selling new 1 how much?

if your bike needs to be towed, even if the thief can find your keys also bike cant move. if your bike can move, no need to tow. understand??? :cheeky:
