HKL sometimes open on sun only...not every sun...

 

haha...ya..i wont go HKL oso...

 

i got another shop thet open on sun...but open from 10am till 3pm only...

 

at braddell rd...inside caltex petrol station..juz beside SPC...u can call tis no. if u dunno the place.. 90603128 (ah keong)

do u guys noe any of the bikeshop that does repair on sunday?

 

haha.. another 1 asked!! btw, my bike is cdi spoil. need to change. wat is the price for the cdi? the bike shop quote me 220-230bucks.. sianz!!

Its original CDI and first hand ba....

You try those motor thiam that scrap bike .... they gots lots of second hand CDI

 

Suggest get second hand... 1 black box.... first or second hand u also cannot tell..... when they install

eh..dunno wat happen oso...lucky got pray ah...if nv pray dunno wat happen le..

 

when after playing pool goin home tat time at AYE...sunny ride so fast...hehe...i wan catch up ma...so i ride till Rpm 7 then suddenly i cannot throttle anymore like the engine goin to die le or the petrol cant go in...then wheel lock awhile then ok le..push to the side then try start lo...lucky can start...hehe...

 

think u better go check ur bike asap bah.seems like wat i have when my piston gt prob tat time

Yo SPers..

I suffered 2 stationary fall while tryin to turn my bike to the left.. then after that kena small scratch at the lower left "hump" of the fairing.. damn heart pain.. anyway to remove it or make it less obvious?

 

One more thing.. after the 2nd fall.. my oil tank that casing become abit loose ar.. go thru hump or white line.. got the metal shaking sound :sian:

dunno got affect the engine inside or not.. any way to tighten the oil tank ourselve?

I will feel a sudden loss of power and my engine like jerking with a little ti ti ta ta sound until I rev higher or lower down the rev.. It's only when i rev up to higher rpm don't encounter a sudden loss or the ti ti ta ta sound. When the sudden loss, i will like slightly jerk in front. I tried maintaining throttle at these rpms at the gears and the bike will jerk and jerk and it keeps having that ti ti ta ta sound.

Haha it's normal. SP has this inherent problem known as "bogging" ... For me, I will nv remain in the 5-6.5 Krpm zone ... Will try to maintain beyond it, as my bogging is so bad that the loss of power can cause engine to stall.

 

if given a choice i rather wait for weekdays to come rather than bring my bike to hkl. :D

May i know the Shop H*l us is it very lousy?

If u r in service (Army/RSN/RSAF), do take some time to read the MINDEF eForums - regarding the backwards tyre installation incidents. Not trying to hurl slime or anything and sorry if there are any HKL regulars here - but I juz feel that such incidents are pretty serious hazards, to the rider and other road users ... Accident waiting to happen :giddy:

 

btw, sp cdi got powercut?

For the newer revision of CDI, yes ... The power cut normally occurs somewhere between 11 and 12.5 Krpm ...

Send ur bike for a thorough check by ur mech ASAP ... Dun try to svc anything to do wif the fuel tank or engine urself, unless u r experienced.

 

Petrol is explosive and issues with the petrol tank can be serious. U dun want to delay n place urself or ur bike at risk ...

Wah..!! 4 keys.. haha ok sure man.. I think going tomorrow.. Cos now my keys like a bit hard to turn the handle lock cos dented.. haha..

eh when key dented mean abit hard to turn the handle lock? cos now i lock i must use a piece of cloth to wrap ard the key then can turn.. quite troublesome

must be very skillful. haha. that time i went imm to duplicate my key den i go back to my bike try to on, can on but cant off so cant pull out. zzzzzzzzzzzzzz. casue me to wait there 45mins to 1 hour for my bf to come rescue me then i go back find the uncle den he told me "oh, sorry ar i tink the lenght too short dat's y u cant turn the key to off"

 

zzzz but at least he oso good enough to come my bike and help me take out the key den make a few trips to and fro my bike and his shop. lol. haha. and now i feel that his duplicate key is way better den my own original key. haha.

hmm i nv service my bike is sg b4.. and dunno which shop to go.. if like that nv do any service in shop.. then ask them help us do a thorough check.. will have any service fee?

I do believe most SPs have that "shake"..But due to the fall it became worst..Most likely from the front part of the tank..Is it more shaky now? I've seen riders "attach" some rubber pieces to ensure a tighter fit..:cool:

Haha, no wonder i ask around a lot of pple say no issue de. But some times i listen to the sound also scared.. haha
