i said this to many of my friends.. change the honda coloured chain at ah boy.. very durable! i used it (lubed it with putoline chain wax every week) for over a year.. only tightened once after riding for a couple months and another time 10-11 months after i bought it..!

 

bought it from LAB with sprockets and installation for only 100+ if im not wrong..

imo its great! comparing with so many other 'good chains' that are recommended by mechs that gets screwed a couple months later..

that sounds more reasonable... whats the red hose u had there? how much to get that? just love those yoshimura of urs... haiz... think im going jb change the chain and sprockets tmr...

oh those are hel brake hoses.. i got it 140 for front/rear.. but i think its a bit overpriced(think its around 120? im not too sure about the prices).. got it a year ago from sanfu.. :/

i see... so what are u riding now? my sp have so many problems... now chain, spocket and brake disc need to change... going to burn a big hole in my pocket...

use semi syn 2t can liao...durin runnin in....try to open ur 2t more abit...like wat my mech do for me...he open full...a bottle of 2t can last around 600 to 700 km...then muz top up le..piston jam is ur 2t openin nt enough...

Hey, I also have that chain wax but it leaves a white sticky thing on it leh.. How come yours so clean? Do you wash the wax away?

well i wash the chain with kerosene every.. maybe 1-2mths? my wax is blue one.. so it leaves a blue sticky thingie on it ^^

rode by either NSF or regular

dint see the plate

but sekali it's yr old darling?

any chances the chain can fit onto KRR? and what size the chain huh?

standard maintainance mah.. that chain wax very easily dry up so must everytime lube.. but with some standard maintainance it can last 1 yr without having to tighten all the time i feel its well worth the money since i travel ALOT every month.. suits the bike colour somemore (i know there are a few other colours) ^^

hey i think i see that bike before my place cause i live there hahaha... well i am changing also alot of things for my sp going ti change my chain and sponket, back and front tyres, a 2nd hand sp full set of fairing and lastly a full serive fot my bike haiz... guess after thati got to eat air every day liao.

 

anyway feel like having a sp outing this week wondering thif fri 14/01 anyone wan to meet up for supper or a trip to jb

sports bike tend to have slightly higher maintenance cost than other bikes

pricewise for 2nd hand SP...can range anything frm $1.8K to $3.5K
