check yr battery water level, it must be the batt.. in any case.. its the power supply that the neutral ligh bulb feeds on..*basic engineering principles* thats why when u ramp more current "rushes in" but check out your batt just in case.. cause sometime if its the power supply prob, your horn might not work, and that may cause abit of a prob when ur on the road.. eg. taxi wanna cut into your lane, you horn but no sound come out... it happened to me... hahaha..:smile:

change to a dry cell..cos oem sp batt uses wet cell and when the battery water level goes down,so does ur batt level..

yO pPl... brought de bike liaoz... overall quite good lorz.. so far no problem... but no coolen buy which 1 n wad brand good n how much?? 2t can last how long? den my bike total up to $2739 izzit resonable??? $2200 Fs nsr machine price... $376 third party mitsui.... transfer $70... road tax $40... $20 coffee money... $19 change engine oil, $3.80 spark plug, wash carbrator $10.... Total $2739.... worth it??? cos dunno lehz... lik abit x for those sevice... can teach me something to look out for juz brought 2nd hand bike... thanks,,,,

2T depends loh, like mine about 2000km-2300km a bottle just right, last me for a month... :smile:

 

Btw anyone know whr got stock for bt39ss both front n rear? Enquiry at many shops all out of stock n all can't gimme a estimate when will come...

i think can a better 1..

then 2t must use good 1 to prevent yur piston frm spoil.. dun save money on 2t... if not it might cost u more later.. min use a esso gold.. i think it can last u for 1.5month

 

consider the service quite reasonable le...

this month i service my ard going to 1k le...

I need your feedback about SP.. Wat is the main problem usually faced by SP riders? How's the fuel intake? How's the handling? Sorry for all these questions coz my previous bike was a TZR 125 cc and I found SP quite nice... intend to buy it by March... please reply asap...

me just now went to view a bike ou.... FR plate selling 1.8k... test ride a realli short short route... in the carpark... less then 50 metres... never get a chance to test gear 2 onwards... the owner look honest, selling the bike becoz he upgrading and also he going oversea in april... the engine a bit loud... a bit only... he say he got clear the pipe... loud to me coz i just pass my bike less than a month ago and never ride sp b4...

 

the bike have a problem... cosmetic problem... :weep:

-fairings and exhaust scratches...

-oil tank right side got dented...

 

that owner is 2nd owner(but with his fren name), his fren is the 1st...

 

 

me have until 8pm to comfirm with him... how ar...? i feel like buying... is it worth it even with some costmetic problems?

the bulb very cheap

if buy on yr own...cost ard $1/bulb for the not so high quality ones

fuel intake varies from bike to bike

but the norm is ard 180KM on a full tank not including reserve tank

 

main problems = typical problems faced by other sportsbike riders (posture less relaxed and have sotrage problem as most pple are unwilling to fix box on sportsbike) + noisy loose clutch housing problem...(this doesnt affect performance of bike though)

 

handling = no comments

price is reasonable...

 

cosmetic wise if u r willing + have the ability to pump more $$ to fix...then no problem

 

and pls do try to get another chance to try the bike's higher gears....

or let the owner ride and u be pillion...ask him ride to expressway and hit 100KMPH

see if the bike can do so w/o too much difficulty

 

all in all...riding for 50M is really insufficient to see if the bike got problem or not...

dont be like me...1st time try ride only one storey of the multistorey then gong gong go buy the bike liaoz...

Hey rei_max. $1800 for FR is reasonable. But the does cosmestic problems bother u alot??? If it does, u will eventually spend more money repaint it or fix the dent. By then it will cost more then you expect. Eg: 2 color paint works will cost abt $350. :thumb:

i've been using the normal 2t intake followed by adding a little 2t into the fuel tank on my bikey. everyone says that it works better this way but i have no idea how. i did notice more smoke when i start the bike though

ok lo.. i bought my at 2.8k .. everything included.. but got new paintwork.. 2t intake my very chor cause just changed piston.. every week must top up. i using LAB esso gold = $12.. cheaper than petrol station which cost $17.60..

 

congrats in getting your own bike. but must ride safe..next time join us for outings :)
