1 cap is more than enough for every full tank. If U intend to go top speed on d day, add another 1 to it, which is 2 in total. Remember, this is for full tank. Excess 2t on pertol tank make ure bike less easy for u to start n it will also harm ure piston n ure combustion chamber. Pls take note....

guys... i went in to JB today and came out at the peak hr timing... experiencing a jam.. while queueing up at the singapore custom, i always leave my engine on and idling while waiting... it always cause my temperature gauge to shoot up... just now waited for hr an hr plus, mt bike temperature shoot up until smoke came out from my 2T pipe at the below of left fairing.. scared me man... den i quickly off my engine... do i need to top up my coolent regularly to avoid this problem?

im the idiot lah 2.4k for fr plate end up alot of problems...will be posting a topic on total costs i've spent on the bike (i keep every receipt!) before going overseas...sometime in april, keep a lookout for it in the hands-on forum! mebbe i'll multipost lol

holy smokes! i don't even measure by cap. i just let it flow for like a second before i stop. i did poke small holes though. anyways, besides the slightly damp pipe internals and more smoke only when i start the bike, i have not experienced any engine failure with this practice. i think i'll reduce the premix now just to be safe.

 

hey junyi, still can't make up your mind? i suggest u try asking one of the forumers here to accompany u when they have the time or get a close riding friend who has bought at least 2 bikes in the past. its difficult to describe the purchase and checking details on html.

hey Perriot, my friends dun own a bike leh..

 

then No point ask them out... i thought of buying from pte sellers, but till now still nv see any.. some very EX.. i count if included insurance + bike = 3.6K for FT sp..

good to see you so enthusiastic about getting a sp junyi. but 3.6k otr (if its with 3rd party fire and theft) isnt that expensive. why not get a older fr/fs bike instead if you dont have enough budget? newer doesnt always mean that its better and has less problem.. maybe get someone who knows what is he doing to follow you to check the bike at least.. if no friends i suppose in the forum there are some people who would follow you down at least.

@ junyi, i think its okay to get an old sp because within a few months, you will most probably get sick of it and want a faster machine. don't know about you but im going to take my 2a soon and hopefully class 2 asap. i guess we all strive for better bikes, better handling and higher speeds when we started riding. when i first got my wheels, i was mad about it too but after a failed sale to my relative, it came back to me and im getting sick of it. nevertheless, its great for transport so im just holding on to it until i can take more classes and hopefully own a zx 12r by mid 2007

l@b r2 is it green color? this 1 i not too sure.

i rem correctly tat the 1 i bought is honey color.

 

tat time i buy tat r2, i saw castrol distributor there. thats why i think that the shop i gt from sells the real stuff. $15.50

 

tat day , my friend call me, ask me help him get a r2 since i am at l@b. so i help him buy lor... so i did the compare abt the 2 packaging...

 

the cap is slight different, the printing of serial number oso different place. quality of the label oso a bit different.

 

side effect - i dunno, its useable 2t so no harm lor. bt are u paying for the real stuff? maybe its 2t of a lower grade.

Guys.. if a person wanna sell his Sp and he wants Full cash, which i dun have so we use moto tiam can?

 

example : we go moto tiam den ask the shop pay him full den i pay shop by installment..

 

BUT... do shop tat we go ask for extra charges? if yes wat is the charges? around how much?
