hello sp. important question regarding safety

 

my side mirrors always vibrate damn badly when i riding. i thought my mirrors old and loose so i change new one but still happening

 

the thing vibrating until when i look into the mirror. i not sure whether the car is beside or behind me.

 

is it normal for sp?

haha. it's so normal for SP. u can always turn ur head to check for vehicles.

why not you give some constructive comments to help the poor guy with the mirror issue?

Its is normal. If you're unsure weather there is car beside you, always has a habit of checking your blindspot.

Hi guys, Need help. Got some question to ask.:help:

 

1.) Is it normal that my rear brakes pad to wear off only one side?

2.) When i apply my front brake, Got some funny sound come out. Is it alright?

3.) If it is cause by the disc plate, How much does it cost to change both front & rear?

4.) Is it premix 2T in the fuel tank good for your piston & engine?

I understand where you're coming from. As such, if you noticed, i've asked whether he is using stock or arrow mirror.

 

If the guy that asked have told us more specifically what type of mirror he is using, such issues wouldnt have arise. Basically arrow mirror sucks. Look nice but useless.

 

Hope the guy that asked the qn would have understand by now. In regards to the mirror he using.

1) there might be uneven wear sometime, abit differnet i guess its okay,

 

2) isit some "shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" sound? if yes its normal, unless its a screenching shound, it could be ur pads are worn. but fyi, i ever had screeching sound on a new fornt pads, braking okay, just felt irritated and i replaced it.

 

3) front i think 80, but htat was donkey years back.... oh, ur uneven wear of pads could be cauesd by ur brake disc too, maybe previous owner crash it or smth.... so ur disc is slightly bent (maybe)

 

4) makes no difference as long as u pour the right amt.... just make sure u use either the pump or premix and not both......

the mirror wasnt a greater concern to me compared to the mindset.

 

1) they dont haf enuff time always to turn behind and check for vehicle.

2) its not gonna be a habit as it is veri tiring.

 

and eventually, this kind of behaviour on the road would definately cause an accident. i myself haf experience this kind of scenerio many times, and probably thats why i'm taking a serious approach to this matter.

alot of times, people develop such bad habits due to their itchiness to try new stuff.

 

in the case of arrow mirrow. want to look nice. but it result in them developing the bad habit of turning the head around to check blind spot.

 

or sometimes being lazy to signal despite being taught so in driving sch, and causing accident to happen.

 

hope none of this will happen to anyone of us. esp when most people here riding sp are p plate.

 

at the end of the day, what matters is we're alive and healthy in one piece.

i let my father be the sub rider of my bike and he is very concerned with my safety because the mirror is not every effective after trying it out

 

i think he replaced the old ones with a new stock one. but im not sure whether is cheong one or original. he said he bought it for 15 dollars?

 

my right airintake box has a broken joint so my right fairing is not bolted on to the airintake. will this cause vibrations? however, when i look at other sp's, most of their air intake boxes also not secured properly one

guess tts why? your head fairing is loose hence it vibrate together with the mirror?

 

it is always a good habit to turn and check for blindspot. dun say its tiring, be save rather than sorry
