any cheap and good recommendations on full servicing for sp?.. i'm staying at tampines. cause i just got my SP a few mths back, i don't know anything regarding SP.. so forumners, need your help too (:

I just did my full service at rp, it cost me 180 cause I had to change my piston ring. But heard they say normal full service cost 85

Guys, I'm currently sharing a SP with a friend. I was planning to get a super four after I get my 2a license. I'm rather big size, so actually lots of friend suggest that I just ride a phantom for the rest of my riding days. What u guys think?

 

if your friend suggest you dun ride bikes ever again.. will you follow... no right... come on... follow your heart... not your ears..

 

even plump guys can ride a sportsbike...

so y restrict urself??

loving a bike, isnt accountable for ur size...

Personal opinion.

 

Most of ur frens dont think thru their brains. You should tell them this,

 

Small Size Guys -> Ride 2B for the rest of their riding days

Tall guys -> Ride scrambler for the rest of their riding days

Short guys -> Ride kup for the rest of their riding days

Well one of them explain to me that the maintance of super four is almost the same as a class 2 bike but it's not a class 2 bike. Like it's not worth the cash

 

that is so wrong, super4 maintainence is actually quite affordable, common spare parts and plenty to go around

Dun rmb servicing sp so expensive lol but well maybe price has changed. 3 rings for 95 dollars, 1 ring for abt 32.

Last time do my sp at jb think also around that value but in Rm.

when we know needed to change the ring uh?and whenever i ride down corner my bike seem to jerk why ah?if got pillion wont feel it.anyone know whats wrong?

I normally change my rings last time everytime i service the bike lor.. they should be dirt cheap.

 

Many things might cause the "jerk"

 

Uneven road surface, suspensions, rear wheel bearing, pro arm , hub etc.

 

Bring it to ur trusted mech for a check to be safe =)
