riding home today to pick up something from home to deliver to my girlfriend... before i left work i was thinking to myself that i think my bike petrol can tahan all the way from orchard to pasir ris no problem... when i was 10m from home my bike no power already... knn no petrol... good thing kiosk is close by....

as usual Qs for old birds here...

 

1) what's a reasonable price for bleeding brakes?

2) my bike vibrates alot when my valve open up at 7rpm, isit normal?

3) does grounding reduce vibrations? which mototiam do grounding? how much it cost?

4) anyone got RecTev Stabiliser in their SP? got feel any different anot?

1. Around $20-$30..Suggest bleeding to be done when you change ur brake hose and if possible, replace pads as well 1 shot.Best results.

2. A check would be safer

3. Dont bother for bikes running on carb

4. Dont bother

20-30 bucks for both or just 1 hose?

For just the bleeding only(Usually front and back)..

 

Brake hose cost around $70 for 1 hose from brands like Hel, Venhill etc etc..They will bleed for you when you decide to change your hose..Labour chargeable of cos..

Hmm maybe i should go motortiam install my venhill brake hose (left behind by previous owner) and ask them teach me how to take out my virgin silencer lol

Need the exhaust to be cool down and a more power plier for 1st time removal...

Yeah.. exhaust probably not so hot if i travel from my place to bike shop.. since i stay like less than 1km away from motor tiams

So after I finish my 500km run in what do I do? My friend said in each gear play with rev range till 10rpm or so... How to complete the run in process?

for me i use 1kkm to run in.

after that just change engine oil + spark plug then off i go.

eh.i got a funny question to ask ah.but dont know if anyone did put a master pump on sp anot?got pros and cons?anyone install voltage meter on sp too?how we know that voltage is enough?
