wah ic u all FC all like very good hor? i wanna ask ya a qn.. wen do ya open reserve? when the gauge hit the red square? or when it realli hit rock bootm "E"?

i everytime pump like $10 onli can travel like 180KM den hitting the red square liao.. why liddat..

you can switch to reserve when your arrow hits the red square, but that is still not your full fuel consumption for full tank before reserve...its almost there but still not yet...to test how much you can hit before reserve, you have to wait till your bike die off while travelling halfway, but try not to do that unless you are able to calmly switch to reserve when you know that your bike dying.

hi, anyone know if i install a volt meter, is it useful?? or got anyother kind of meter tat is useful?? hee, is K&N air filter gd ma?? and the carbator....

a voltmeter is useful as a caution against low batt, i got a single color analog voltmeter on my bike

quite helpful in pinpointing my batt low problem of bike dying off when the needle(which used to idle ard 10-12V) drop to 8V when i start engine

for a cosmetic purpose u can install a 7 color voltmeter..haa which is $45

K&N filter has been discussed quite recently, you might refer to recent posts in this thread for more info :goodluck:

the fuel gauge from own experience is normally not accurate

i normally ride until main tank empty(ie...when u rev, rpm dun go up but start goin down), when that happen, u can

1. take your left hand off the handle bar and turn the fuel knob to "res" on the move

2. wobble wobble wobble to road shoulder and do it stationary

personal pref is 1, but takes practise n like zlord says, calmness

2 is dangerous cos if theres any tailgaters den :help:

haha, yup...try be a lil gentler wif the throttle on lower gears and slowly pickup on higher gears, when cruising on expressway, maintain roughly same rpm(mabbe ard 6k), shud help in increasing fuel mileage

:goodluck: to you...and of cos, like everyone here does...fill up ur tank to the brim manz...yes, to the brim way above the metal bar(if you haven aredi done so :cheeky: )

from the manual, the specs states reserve as 2L, so assuming one litre can go abt 20+km, you can travel ard 40km... dats for my bike...so far haven do til empty and push yet.. haha...normally once switch knob to "res" i will be on my way to jb for my fave Synergy F1 :lovestruck:
