guys my sp very cui. anyone can help me?? advise me?? i'm a noob sp rider. just buy only. den cui like fck. any mech to recommend? money is not a prob, just wan my sp to perform better. top speed 120 only. cb. everytime start canot start. need pull choke. start liao, when throttle up, the engine like dying. like can stall anytime. dunno wad's the problem. would appreciate if bro here can help me on this. will be grateful. or even accompany me go shop would be better. now my bike in camp. cos just now kick cannot start even pulling of choke. push start also cannot start. gt the engine cranking sound but a after awhile dies off. sad.

my mech tell me to buy a new disc brake in SG as it's better then skimming it.

but i now no $$ so wanna skim it first...

any either how much it cost in SG ??

 

brand new one i think is around 90 for original honda one... hmmm disc brake is an investment i feel, better you spend the cash 1 time then have the problem settled for a few years....

 

sandy: i got go your shop but at weird weird hours one.... my family not letting me upgrade to a CBR400 for now, so i guess ill be working on my SP for a year to come....

Guys I facing this problem on my SP for 2 mths. Lets say i dun touch my bike for few days, i will kickstart like almost around more than 10 times to start the engine. Than when the bike running already i open throttle abit than after few sec the bike die liao. Plus i notice when starting when i open throttle it sounds like got something inside my exhuast. Is time to decarbonise my pipe? Even lets say i use my bike in the morning, than during the night when i kickstart also have to kick so many times...Can anywan explain wats wrong wif it? Is it because my battery is weak or must change sparkplug? Cause my battery gona die liao. Thanks lots...

Dun get what u mean... when i say with renewed coe... it is at least another extra 8yrs... shops would definately want to earn more from you... why no take a look at Garage sales thread and see.. the bikes will be much cheaper..

for SP with coe expiring this year or next the price ranges from 1k to 1.4k.... low price is due to COE dying so pricing will be lower... up to you, if you plan to ride your SP for a few years (very unlikely for new riders) then get one with renewed COE.... from what ive seen those with COE less than 1 year have problem fetching above 1k...

 

for those with renewed COE can look to pay 2k and up, maybe 2.4 or 2.6k depending on the condition and number of mods the previous owner has done for his bike....

 

i feel its better to get one with renewed COE cos resale value is there... when i was looking for my sp earlier this year those with COE ending late this year or early next year can get for as low as 1k or even 800....

 

sandy: ya loh kena influenced by you... my colleague always tell me to get super 4 but saw a few CBR400 with k conversion kit to make it look like CBR600... chio but im sure the fairing will cost a lot....
