Hi, I'm a new rider, just brought a SP 3 mths ago.

Haven went servicing before. I had only repair once after a small accident, due to raining and a reckless driver U-turn without giving way. Damns. Ok back to qn, I heard that bike needed go for a service check every 3 months, but which are the part do we need to take note off? I had wash the carburetor before and change the battery and front light before. Sorry for top many qn at one time, normally how much mileage do you all change ur engine oil? Lastly normally for SP, what fuel do you all pump ah? Is 95 in shell or esso good enuff? Your help will be appreciated!! Thanks!

Regarding the servicing, mech will clean and check the caburator, piston , piston ring, block, changed new spark plugs, starter; exhaust pipe cleaning is optional...

Thanks dude!! wanna check with you guys. my exhaust now is giving out white smoke, is it normal? i using normal 2 tee from shell~ and i find it rather weird because my 2-T can last me a month cause i always find the 2T reduce a little only.

hey dude~~ just to let u know that last time i used shell 2T too.. it cheap and last long.. but if use castrol or motul brand can last u less than month~~ so it mean dont buy 2T from petrol station to prevent from giving out white smoke.. it just my 2cent~~

May i know what is the ideal idle RPM? 1.2? My bike always stall when I am at stationary position so i went to adjust the fuel and air intake at the carb just now. My idle is now 1.5-1.6. Is this too high? Will there be high FC when i do this?

 

My 2T oil also drain alot now. Used to be 5 full tanks but now 3 full tanks. All this happens after I overhaul the bike myself 3 weeks ago.

check your 2t intake, your mech probably tune it higher for your run-in.
