True. That's why I'm still comparing. But I did some research & realised the only difference between Spec 2 & Spec 3 is the "RPM that the V-tec kicks in" & the sharp tail. Of coz age is a big difference lol!

Yeah, still got a month to consider. But most probably still targetting Spec 3. w4m is right, Spec 2 is still a Spec 2 no matter what cosmetic changes it's done

I think Spec 3 FC is the best among the 3 different Specs. I'll just stick to Spec 3, went quite many shops to find last Sat

Read from SP manual saying below 8k rpm. Also heard people saying not to baby too much on the bike when running-in.

Thanks bros for the replies. Currently running in between 5-6k rpm. Seems quite ok. Although sometimes feel like when reach 5k rpm there's like a 'hang' for a while before the rpm shoots up to 6k at a surge kinda pace. Not sure if it's the valve or what, cos before changing block, my valve opens at 6.8k rpm.

pitting is like when piston run against the block, by right should have no issue. But if impurity or something wrong, then scratches will appear. Can be caused by piston jam also. then from scratches, slowly become worse, chip off tiny pieces, so end up the block have tiny holes, and piston will be scratched.
