Yes i'm still using 520 chain.

Maybe ppl change because 520 is too big.. its same size as cl2a (double hp than sp) chain.

Also same size as motogp chain (10x hp?).

 

428 is smaller n lighter and more suited to small cc.

420 n 415 are even smaller.

 

If not wrong, the 125cc gp bikes which top speed can reach (true) 240km/h is just using 415/420 chain..

Hi guys can I just check w you all what is top and full overhaul does? Because I am getting a SP and it is quite old so I heard overhauling is a process that could make the engine better? Someone enlighten me here? Thanks and cheers!

anyone knows whether all fp plate cdi really no powercut in gear 5&6? wanna convert my bike for track use so kinda need this info

Cannnot la... Nowadays many TP on patrol, after expressway bus stops or bends.. Many speed cams on top of the lamp-post at expressway now.. Some even equipped with laser gun, once point at our vehicle you're gone.. Compare to last time I won't take the risk..

Singapore no place to try eh! last 2 years.. still can play at 40 street lamp @ lim chu kang. =X

 

Ya.. As of what I've known... Last time got see people ride at LCK road there.. Racing there also have, Yishun Dam also one of the hot spots, but got operations from TP go there now, so not advisable to race. Basically can't think of any gd spots.. :o

For 4t bikes i think top overhaul is to service the block head, valve, ect. and replace wear and tear items.

 

For 2t bikes is to open the block check piston, ring & cylinder wear and replace where necessary.

 

Whereas full overhaul involve downing the engine to open the crankcases to replace worn parts.

 

Its to replace worn parts to make engine like new.

 

Everytime i buy 2nd hand 2t bikes i'll sure go do top service.

go and ask around lah. cfm you have frens who ride or drive wan mah.

Next is malaysia northsouth highway its road surface quite good.

Next is pasir gudang.. but straight is quite short. Need to setting n play properly then can get.

rider needs to knwo the road , cause another joker might be testing also ,

On track last 2track days

 

1st krr150

2nd krr150

3rd pgm4

 

Those krr rider are 15-17 yrs old guys.

 

Pgm fully mod need abt 15k - 20k

Nsr150sp fully mod abt 4k -7k

 

Plus do you think pgm hrc parts very easy to get? If u have money also cannot find it. I can tel you.

Full overhaul

 

Change crank buy fm FJT $210

Change all the casket and Bering inside ur engine. No matter got spoil or not.

Change piston, piston ring, piston rod, piston c pin,piston berring and pare casket plus mental casket.

 

 

If u going to overhaul

IMO use the new crank go mod. Then use all the heavy duty high speed berring.

Plus change ur gear ratio.

 

If u wanna to mod or overhaul can find Bayi 96958181.

Yah thats y i think better to crash the sp rather than pgm.. unless i pro already then can.

 

Furthermore small cc bike have advantage at pasir gudang circuit due to the circuit layout.

 

Big bikes may pass u on the 2 straights but the less skilled riders will hog u in the various turns.

Bigger hub means more acceleration and lesser top end???
