Anyone here bought and installed 24-led 1157 LEDs bulbs for brake light? How is it working? Is it just replace can already or need to put in resistors? Tks...

I have seen the 12-LEDs 1157 S25 bulbs, but not the 24-LEDs type. Installation is the same just plug & play. No problem, may be too big & not bright enough, u must check if they are cool enough for yr lamp. :goodluck: :goodluck: :goodluck:

How long hav U bought the bike, I myself also installment for another 2yrs, sucky idea when I bought the bike initally, especially when I could pay one short, now stuck with it. :weep: But overall still like the bike lar.

Does this apply to the rims? I thought it will also remove the paint work as well. I really want my rim to be sparkle clean. Got one class class 2 riders suggest to me using wax to clean the rim, haven't try yet, now waiting for my next bike washing session.

My little piece of advice...

1.....Degrease ur bike first...

2.....shampoo ur bike

3.... dry ur bike

4... Wax ur bike.

5.....then lub ur chain..

6......ride it for 2-3 rounds the car park...

7......stop the bike...

8......spray abit of degreaser on ur rims and wait 5 minutes

9.... wipe off with a dry piece of cloth.

either use degreaser to clean ur rims... or if u are rich enough... get black magic rim cleaners.. can get from most petrol station.

just my little advice from experience on a semi crome SP rims. And friend with CBR1000RR glossy black rims.

wa black magic x wor.. a bit wasted to use on rims le.. i rather use it on my bike fairing... Rims no matter how u wash, once u move off to the road it will get dirty also so no point ...

The best use degreaser lo.. cheap and easy.. juz spary and use water to wash off

Your concept of lubing the chain after a wash is way wrong my friend..

The proper way is to lube it while it's hot..

http://www.quality-cycle.com/The_Correct_Way_to_Lube_your_Chain_001.jpg

How to Correctly Lube your Chain!

Most people (probably 7 out of 10) don’t know how to correctly “lube” their Motorcycle Chain! A chain wears at it’s “Pins”, that holds the inner & outer Side Plates together.

It’s “Pin” wear that causes your chain to stretch! (wear)

Most people just spray the chain lube on the back of the sprocket down the middle of the chain. This does your chain very little good!!!! The chain “rollers need very little lubrication.

The only correct way to get the “lube” to the Pins....is to spray just above the chain at the bottom of the sprocket & let “gravity” do the work. The lube will flow between the side plates to get to the shaft of the Pins.

Then do the other side the same way. The difference between a improperly lubed chain & one that is “lubed” correctly can mean up to a 35% increase in the life of your chain!

Remember that a properly lubed non O-Ring Chain with the same Tensile Strength.....will last just as long if “lubed” correctly! Even a X-Ring chain seals have to be lubed occasionally to keep them from drying out & help flush grit off the chain!!!!
