Haha seems veri lengthy 'discussion' on lubing chain...sometimes say so much oso no one will listen n each will insist their own way is right...jus get a good quality lube and spray in between sprocket teeth n chain when it's warmed after degreasing it...

 

CivicR btw the chain guard how? No good meh? The wax so far no complains, I washed moi bike on Sat n went to pick up my frd, at his cp den lube my chain and 5mins later rode off n no flings so far, chain seems smooth too...or mayb it's becuz it's a new chain...haha

Finally someone buy one liao, mine have been hung at my room for more then 2 mths liao. Remember to get ento to go with U when U buy if not *chop* Btw U buy the riding boots already? I need one soon, this rain is killing me.

 

j4ph4o U might wana go JB to service if U are on a budget some of the folks here went there to service but take few hours to do it. I done my at Planet got to say the engine gone smooth and my fuel consumption now back to what most of the rider get 220km before reserve.

which one u referring to?

i visited the one nearest to the petrol kiosk

chinese owner

went to change engine oil and spark plug only

pricewise....for more well known brands like Motul...price ard the same as SG

its drop from 280km to 180km per full tank

anyway i changed piston ring and piston

so maybe different from case to case

did bumped into my ex-KRR on the road at tampines area

he told me now can go 270km full tank liaoz

so i guess the mileage will eventually resume back to normal one

Your petrol consumption is quite bad...133km full tank is absolutely swallowing petrol man...your bike got modded before? you always whack your bike? how is your carb setting? do you have an air filter? did you always pump to the brim?

hi guys.. would like to know.. how far can ur sp go with a full tank??? mine can onli go for 133km........ nothing further... so my bike is considered as high fuel intake? aniway to reduce the intake of petrol?

Heyy yeah man.. my tank oso got that problem leh.. how cum ah? issit the fuel intake too much?? i wana ask the mech to go n sumhow reduce my fuel intake leyy.. anywaone noes how to trectify the problem.. mine only reach 150km lehh..too high already the fuel consumption..

Mine too...last time 240km open reserve, after few months 200km, den 190km, ytd opened at 183km...

 

Not sure could it be due to the new fuel jet needle I changed recently, but really it really sucks...will be letting the mech check when I got time to go down Planet to do my cones...
