I think not the fuel tank ba. its the same leh. i think so ba. everyone's SP can squeeze 11odd liters inside rite?

wow!

very impressive!!!!

268km on tank! (without reserve right?)

and pickup as fast as a scrambler!

and better still! got more power than a rvf! (but i suspect ur army friend rvf very very chui one.)

i am impressed.

btw, im using only mobil 5000. i can't believe it also. initially was on standby at ard 190 already, but nothing leh. then 220. i travelling on the extreme left lane on AYE and waiting to stop by the side already. nothing also. exited the highway at jurong town hall rd then go collect study materials. 233. then go to yishun to meet someone. 250. havent die! then thinking when will finish siah. so from yishun go SLE/TPE and finally died at tampines ave 10 just after TPE exit at 267.75km.

bro flykite, can share ur settings with us so all can save money?

this happen after change piston leh. was 120km on main tank at 1st when running in, then next pump become 180. next pump 210. then 230. then 248. now 267! next pump could be even better!! :cheeky:

here's wat i did:

1. did according to bgoy, i tuned the 5 shaped star like knob at the right side of the tank so that idling rpm is 1050rpm. at 1st i dunno i turn alot then become 600 rpm idling then every red light engine die. haha. that was dumb. shd have tested out 1st before going on road.

2. i realise that the engine consume more fuel at lower rpm or at half clutch position. can be quite a difference. usu i change gear at 6krpm then once or twice open valve for about two mins. cannot open valve too long damn noisy. for normal crusing my rpm is usu above 5500rpm but less than 6800rpm cos i hate the engine knocking at 5000rpm. tried b4 cruising slowly at 4000rpm where the engine run very smooth and quietly but it eat a lot of petrol!

3. maybe don't use engine brake will help? when i far far see red light my favourite is to clutch in then FREE GEAR let the bike roll from far far away until reach the red light... then slowly slowly use front brake to slow down until stop. save the brake also. sometimes even before reach the junction become green light again.

4. my tyre is pump to 250 back and 230 front! the bike become very smooth! cos the track is smaller by almost 50% than compared to 200 both but when rain must be careful lah. on steel plates also must careful hor.

5. also my favourite is to lie flat on the fuel tank while on highway. less wind resistance acting on ur body.

 :cheeky:  :cheer: just my two rupiah worth of views :goodluck:
