eugene pop footrest i asked qte alot of shops b4

in amk in serangoon areas

most quote me 180 with installation with e odd few quoting me at 200

so far only hkl selling at 160 plus install

but a word of advise

my first pop footrest which was changed at hkl like 1mth ago

both nipple things at either side of e foot rest fell off within like 2 hrs as i told u yest at amk ids park 1

so remember to ask the mech to use gum, lots of it b4 installing e footrest for u if not if e thing drop off they will just act blur n replace u with a fark up one of diff colour from my personal exp

or better still a dead bolt nut if possible

after using e gum on ur way home try to minimize e force of u kicking it since e gum is not totally dried yet

Why four strokes when all you need is two?

a brake hose is used to carry brake fluid and transmit fluid pressure efficiently with minimal loss of pressure

any loss in fluid pressure will of course result in loss of braking power

for stock brake hose which is made of rubber, expansion and contraction can be easily affected by weather

the aging of rubber will also cause the surface of e hose to harden n in extreme cases break, it may also pollute will brake fluid when the inside of e hose decays

due to these factors theres is e hel brake hose

what is good abt it is that it has a life time warrenty, is made of stainless steel and hence rust free and also maintains e overall brake system pressure

personally i feel that steel braided hoses r more than good enough for 2b bikes

anyway we only require 2 lines since we only have 2 brake disc front n rear

steel braided brake hoses are useful for second hand bikes with worned or expanded default rubber ones. not practical for 1st hand bikes.

yeah i suppose its not practical, but those stock rubber hoses (althou new) still expands a lil bit when braking. for some people who like really good braking feel, that alone justifies the money spent on steel braided hose. cause, you're gonna change them sooner or later anyway. the steel braided hose would prolly last you the duration of the time you keep the bike (im not talking about 10years or so here).

i think for lifetime warrenty, you'll have to send it back to the distributor. im not tht sure thou.

on a side note, my old sp, wr2, rvf were all using hel steel braided hose. cheap and goo d enough for me ^^
