Morning NSR bros.... Sunday i pillioned a friend for the 1st time...

my bike is like so weak like that. Even when the road is clear (1am)

and i try to speed up, still feels like the bike is jerky and weak.

The feeling is like u try to go up a slope with 5th gear but

ur speed is only 50km/hr. Even my friend (who is a non-rider)

commented that my bike feels weird... And when i approachs the

red light, i stepped down the gears, whenever at 1st gear, the sound is

extremely loud "CRAK" sound... my friend even joked

that it sounds like a s4! Durrr....

Bros, u guys got experience such things?

No offence but i really wonder how u pass ur tp.

Anyway during tp dont u remember they always tell u to switch to e lower gears so that e bike will have more power and hence will not wobble?

A simple reason for that is because at a lower gear, e gear ratio is higher (e engine makes more revolution for every revolution of e transmission output), hence more torque (power) is avaliable.

With this theory in mind, when u need more power, obviously u will need to shift to a lower gear! Even w/o knowing this theory, you should know that e bike is more powerful at a lower gear!

This is why u feel your bike has no power as you r totally riding in the wrong manner! Nobody use gear five to climb up a slope! Even more so when u r pillioning somebody on ur bike!

If you feel that your bike has no power when accelerating on a straight, dont change to a higher gear at such a low RPM where e torque produced is not even enough to overcome e engine friction and wind resistance, much lest your body weight.

A final point is if u want ur bike to be more powerful, get a bigger cc bike. For goodness sake u r only riding a 150cc bike.

There is about 6 motodiams there.

It is along the mrt track from Yishun to Sembawang.

For more info, pls use e search function or check ur street directory which only cost $11.90 for a small one.

"Wanting to buy a bike? Cannot trust private sellers? Thinking of getting one from the motordiam? No $ have to take loan? Think again! With 7% p.a. interest, and absolutely NO guarantee for second hand bikes as stated in your contract, u will be in no better financial position than when u started off, even worse, u might end up in debt! Think from the other perspective, if a bike was in good condition, why would the seller want to shortchange himself and push it to shop? obviously the bike got problem! and the shop, never being honest, will then poach the SP for more good parts and finally sell u a totally chui sp that is capable of travelling just as far as the shop is out of sight. Then you spend more $ on the repairs, and you curse and swear, and then regret having being a carrot and spending so much more than you should. And then u remember my advice. Isn't it too late?

You don't have to be a carrot to buy your bike. You don't need to spend horrendous amounts of money repairing your new bike. Stop being a carrot now. Help me to help you get a good SP by clicking here. Now."

S$88 plus installation from LAB workshop. Twist: carry there yourself and get some free gifts from him~!

well it does if u think of it, bigger tires translate to more ground covered in one complete rear wheel rotation, hence higher speed...

your tire what brand one ah?

he said that it FEELS like climbing a slope with 5th gear, not that he practiced that and he did mentioned that he stepped down the gears before stopping. why did you quote his post and yet not understand what he typed ? hmm....

lol,i think if i sold my bike before the accident alot of people would hav queued for it. but now... sigh. needless to say.

Anyway, planning 2A now. can anyone enlighten me on the difference between CBR400RR, RVF400 and GSXR400RR? The only similarities i know are that they stopped production, are all 400cc, are 4 strokes and sound almost the same. rofl. Is RVF the fastest among the 3?

chenz.. hehe i think gsx has the most nicest sound of them three.. coz its more hollower.. and gixhas a lower siiting posture.. u have to go forward to get the handle bar.. :)

this is wad i heard but i dun noe no how accurate that is..

rvf has better pickup..

cbr has better top end..

heard that gsx is the older of the three bikes.. and shud u get those no good conditon ones.. prepare to hand out money to service worn out parts..
