Sorry for all these long posts.

Anyway i did grounding today.

Lazy to get into theory part for it but its e same as using an impedence stabiliser or e more common voltage stabiliser.

Super extremely highly recommended to do it.

30 bucks for 4 pts by my friend.

I can personally vouch n guarentee his workmanship.

Maybe i should DIY for u guys too n earn some small bucks since i learned how to do it.

:D

I changed my batt just 2 weeks ago.

Using e brand Tanaki.

Cost 14 bucks at ah boy. DIY of cos. Our is size 3. Just tell e motodiams batt for sp n they will know.

S4 batt is size 5.

Most motodiams will change this brand for u n charge u 30 for everything but this is a very low quality (chiong) batt n as expected it died on me only a week ltr.

I measured the volt just now n its only 9.5v when idling n headlight is switched on.

By right it should be 12v when idling n if ur bike electrical sys is really gd, 12.5v.

U can try Shinko ones, not bad.

Lasted me for like half a yr.

Was not able to find any Yusa dry cell. Think Yusa only produces wet ones. Anybody used or saw b4 Yusa dry cell for SP?

Anyway a tip for u on changing batt.

After u empty e electrolyte into ur batt housing, do not seal it immediately.

Wait for .5 hr and then seal it. After sealing it, use a charger n charge it at low charge for another .5 hr. After that fix it on ur bike n ride around for abt another .5hr to high charge it. Go at a speed of above 80kmph/above 5000 rpm.

I can ensure u ur batt can last u at least half a yr.

If u keep on insisting using a dead batt, it will damage ur rectifier not long after.

You are stressing ur rectifier as it is charging ur batt rapidly yet e batt cant hold e charge.

Simple analogy is trying to force a 400cc power out of a 200cc bike.

Anyway bro i m going to get a new batt this weekend. Want go get together?

Dont mind helping u fix too cos its very very ez one.

I m thinking of getting back e original Honda batt at chiong aik deskar/see whether is there a Yusa dry cell, if both of them r too ex then i will just get a shinko one.

maybe u can try hkl, cos according to the mechanic at hkl he claimed my yusa batt is dry cell, normally used by pgm4.rather big in size...tailboard cannot hide the batt fully..very strong quality batt. price wise i not sure, cos i gt mine for free..

freedom..:gun:

Yes i agree a v4 may be more stable in cornering but remember that e lower a bike CG is, the more u have to lean to do a proper cornering.

However, v-engines are defintely more stable on the straight and has better torque than inlines.

RVF is a 90 degree v4.

I think u r refering to Suzukis' v-engines which r at 75 degree.

Diff angles give diff stability, depending on the no. of cylinders.

so which has more stablility? the rvf?

wah whateva u said hor.. sounds damn cheem to me siah.. i wonder where u aquire all this knowledge.... u working in dis industry ah?

i think you'll have to pay 700 ^^

i bought it before from vectorone. but i didnt install it in the end... sold it to iceberkz who i think is using it for track only.

i think theres no point changing it unless you are not really gonna use it in sg. its really not worth it. you have to look over your shoulder everytime, hoping you wont get caught. imo thats stupid. the power increase wont be alot, unless you do alot to your bike. no point lah... tp see he sure stop one. very obvious ^^

Sorry la bro. My batt just died on me today morning after my guard duty. My fren pushed start

for me but after a while when i'm about to reach the motodiam there it died on me cos i forgot to

continue rev... Damn.. Push the bike to the motodiam cos i dunno their phone number and i

thought it looks near. What normally seems like a short distance on bike turn out to be torture ah!

Especially after the guard duty. Now i know dun try to act SAK push the bike. Just sit there wait for

them to come easier. Lesson learnt. Next time when the Neutral light starts to fade or not as bright

as ever, change it. I was lazy to change it. Kept postponing it. :faint: Anyway forgot the brand of

the batt liao. Just know it have a red LED light on it and the batt is purple in color. $35 leh....

Brand maybe shinko ah..

Bro our bike do not need batt to start.

No need push start when e batt die.

Just kick as normal, however u have to switch off ur headlight whenever u r idling n throttle abit.

Yup shinko one is abit purple blue colour with a red led light which indicates that its charging.
