What does parallel import cars mean?

parallel import cars = cars which are not brought in by the brand's main agent

 

means u buy thru these PI company who bring in the car themselves !

Means that they are not imported by the agent in Singapore.

eg,Toyota cars not brought in by Borneo , or Nissan cars not brought in by Tan Chong, or BMWs not brought in by Performance....

 

Agents spend time and money to build the brand up so they may not service the cars which are sold by PI. However, this has not been a big problem as parts of Jap cars are very easily available. It's more a reputation issue when people buy from Agent rather than PI.

for PI car.. all the parts are assembled in japan, build by japanese n direct import from japan port.. for agent car.. their car is build n assembled in thai. parts are from everywhere in the world. sum more PI is cheaper than agent. so which 1 u prefer ? but if u wan buy PI car.. make sure choose the correct company..
