No composition parking offence

I got a parking ticket which states that it is not an offer of composition and a letter will be sent to me...does this mean that I have to go to court?

 

I parked on the pavement to have a quick 15 min meal in little india and then suay suay kena this ticket...what should I expect to happen? Feeling a bit worried about the demerit pts thing because I'm a P plater as well

Dont have to go to court. Just 70$ fine and no demerit points.

 

But bro, why did you park on the pavement in little India? I go there very frequently and there are free parking lots on the lanes near mustafa, although I agree that most times they are full, sometimes I go 2 or 3 rounds just looking for a parking lot, its very rare that I have not found one and parked beyond the normal lots.

Should be a $70 fine. Painful, but learn from this, and park in proper parking lot next time. I have personally gotten such fines in the past, very painful. If you're refering to Tekka market, there is a huge EPS carpark at the back (along Buffalo Road). 65 cents versus $70.

$70 with no demerit point. lesson learnt bro..not worth it to save 65c end up tio summon. anyway if really there is no parking lot available and u want to go for a fast meal, park ur bike where u can view it with no obstruction. at least when fatimah come you can straight away move your bike.

Just go pay the $70 fine and don't repeat the same mistake. Frankly speaking, it's really not worth to kenna summon due to laziness.

Is this your first time being fined for such an offence?

 

If it is, then you could try writing in and requesting a second chance. I did that, and the fine was waived. Worth a try, nothing to lose.

 

Nowadays, I try to park at a proper lot.
