Dude yr 18km/L is considered above average liao.. Mine is onli 13km/L.. Most of the people here get about that too.

The avg F.C for a WR2 is 16km/l to 19km/l

 

And also, i've been encountering these squeeking sound from my from suspension, is it a oil leak? cause i can't seems to find any trace of oil leak. Mine's a FP wr200.

 

Try to spray some WD-40 to the joints of the rear suspension. Provided you still got a healthy bounce, it could be just a squeaking problem, else bring it to a decent dirtbike mechanic

 

One more qn, my bike's leaking fuel as well, i read tru the posts, can't find a similiar case. mine is like leaking from "inside", "colouring" my engine cover and my gear are all stained with black oil.

 

It could be your gasket are torn. Or it could also be the nut holding the front sprocket is slightly loosen. Or it could also be the O-ring behind that sprocket is damaged.

Ok thanks guys. Will go ahead with your advise. Hmmm, also, i read that one of the rider's wr can go up to 240KM/HR!!! Mine can onlyget to 120km/hr top, is it normal? cause i see most of the WRs can do up to 120, 130 max...

Now you're talkin about my WR200. Yeap, I clocked 240km/hr before.

 

Your's is pretty normal. 120-140km/h.

 

Do remember rider's weight play a big part as well here.

140 is enough to get ur license revoked on sg road, what say 240?

u aren't gonna bring a wr to sepang or pasir gurang rite?

 

anyway, ur wr can hit 140 / 150km/h u should be contented already la..

and modification is not legal..

140? hiakz... i dun even dare to hit 120... when i'm @ 100... my bike is kinda wobbling n feel as if i'm losin control of it...

I and my friend did 240 and 260km/h respectively.

 

Of course, you won't get that on stock meter. You need illegal, or rather, accidental modifications.

 

What we had was speedos without needles cos most dirtbikes had that problem including yours truly.

 

So we were as fast as what we thought we were.

 

For once, I see this thread come alive again after my 240km/h feat. :lol: :lol:

Haha naz bro ur 240km/h thingy has fooled someone again.. haha..

 

 

ya naz bro i recently encounted some really big prob hopin someone could help..

 

my bike when movin at expressway at 60MPH suddenly engine died off... Anyone noes wats the prob?? had this prob a few times oready... pull my bike to workshop, they said plug dirty.. clean the plug than everything is ok again. it happen twice... anything can stop this dyin of engine?? cause quite dangerous ah imagine going at express way suddenly that happen and 1 car comes along..... ahhhhhhhhh......

hey! same ting happen to me laaa... on AYE at 80km/h!!!! sekali engine diee.. lucky can roll all e way to rd shoulder! oso go shop, change plug... y eh

Either your plug is fouled or something is choking the carburettor. If it happens again, send ur carb for some cleaning and tuning.

i got that problem sometimes back, cause by the rectifier.

and pls get the original one with RUBBER top(plastic is chiong one)..

i got that problem sometimes back, cause by the rectifier.

and pls get the original one with RUBBER top(plastic is chiong one)..

 

 

 

for me its the whole engine not workin like no petrol like that.

going 80 suddenly cough twice than engine brake..horn, lights, signal all not workin. brought to workshop they tell me plug dirty. clean up then can start again. 2 weeks later same prob comes. really dunno wat to do...

some mechanic says its the CDI damage if too hot than CDI stop workin. they say if wanna change must change both CDI and rectifier.

 

by the way how much u change for the rectifier?? is it with the CDI??

Why not try cleaning up your carburettor first, then tune it up?

 

:btw: I only know rectifier 2nd hand ard $70 minimum. CDI shld be $200++++++++.
