When in high rev, the 'power valve' or watever its called, doesnt seem to open... its like, i KNOW there's that burst of energy thats supposed to kick in when reached a certain rpm, but its just not opening!! WHYYY?????

Guys....newbie here....would like to get a WR200...went to see one....it must always turn on choke to start and needs several kicks before it starts...is this normal? Then the idling knob must always be adjusted to keep the bike idling and not die of....the chain is almost scratching the swingarm and sometimes very noisy....what do u guys think?....are these minor things to repair?....would appreciate comments and advice from all....thx....its a 15 year old bike....

find a more perfect condition bike so u wont spent so much time and $ on the bike...if the bike engine is cold usually we need to pull the choke.. several kicks is normal lah..but for my bike 1 2 kicks should be able to start already..

the choke is used when the engine is cold and needs a richer mixture to get the engine started.. turning on the choke would hook up a different circuit to get this mixture.. for me i only on the choke when i haven ride in 2 days.. apart from that everyday riding should have a stable engine start.. jus my 2 cents! :)

Nothing goes too fast, only out of control
