Raincoat - Where to buy?

I use my old raincoat as outer wear & new raincoat for inner wear. My shirts is still dry after passing through heavy downpour.

I'm looking to buy a rain coat. I have a question on size: if i want to wear it on top of my armoured riding jacket, do I buy the same size as my riding jacket or 1 size bigger?

Best advice is to try the raincoat whilst wearing your jacket. It should not impede movement and practically should cover the entire jacket esp at the end of the sleeves.

Drymaster or drymaster x? How long have yours lasted so far?

Bought the dry master. Used about a year and still lasts. Keep it away from the exhaust tho, accidentally stood too close didn't realise one leg was touching the pipe n it melted.

i bought my drymaster from motoworld, only problem when wearing that is during heavy rain you have to bear with the pain when the raindrops strike you because its quite thin, but you are dry.

RS Taichi dry master can be bought for half the price at Tao Bao, my DM bought at motoworld is also made in China. The DM rain jacket fabric is different from the pants, it more porous hence can feel the dampness on your skin from heavy down pour, but the pants material is light and more waterproof. My jacket started to leak at the stomach area and eventually all over the place after 1 year, even though I take care to air dry after use and fold nicely and put in my backpack.

 

may i know, did you buy, and does it hold up to heavy rain? Often when i good stuff the CSO will claim that export quality and size is different.

Recently motoword just release new rs taichi raincoat. See their motoworld fb page. Seems to be a good deal.
