hey people just wanna get some advise from u guys..

getting my 2A and contemplating between spec 1 and 2.

I want good fuel efficiency. so is spec 1 a better choice than spec 2? whats are the cons of spec 2 besides the vtec open earlier? I read through the thread some bros the spec 2 1litre can go up to 23km whereas spec 1 1 litre about 19km.. What price range should i be looking at?

Thanks bros.

More power comes with more petrol consumption

Consumption depends on your riding style/ engine n ect.. LOTS of factor to consider

Mine spec 3 till last drop manage to get 420km/tank..(if I throttle conscious )

I have pretty bad fc.

Btw what sprocket setup r u all using? Tyre pressure also.

Full tank last me around 220-230

Keep everything as stock as possible

Depends on weight, but must be within factory spec

Afew tips to look out :

Possible reason for bad fuel consumption :

-Airfilter (Dirty/ Clogged up)

-Spocket (Worn out/ Not standard size)

-Chain (Not lube/ Chain too slack/ tightened)

-Tyre (Worn out/ Incorrect Pressure) ( Wrong size)

-Tyre Valve (Leaking air)

-Wheel bearing (Not in good condition)

-Engine Oil (Wrong grade/ Due for change)

-Carburetor (Air/ Fuel not balanced) (Jetting not stock)

-Fuel (Contaminated/ Low grade)

-Fuel line/ filter (Clogged)

-Meter (Inaccurate/ offset)

-Rider (MotoGP mood/ Fuel-conscious type)

-Clutch (Clutch plate/ spring worn out)

-Header Gasket (Worn out)

-Weight (Heavy luggage/ pillion/ rider)

-Idling (Too High/ low)

-Engine braking (Too much)

-Abrupt braking

-Hard acceleration

-Engine condition (TOO much to explain)

-Brake Caliper/ Brake pad (Brake Caliper piston jammed?/ not free)

-Improper suspension set-up (Too hard/ Too soft)

-Servicing (Do on time, dnt overdue)

-Idle too long (Waste petrol/ Engine hotter/ coolant affected unnecessary/ WaterPump work harder to maintain temperature)

Tats all I can think off, for now.

Hey people, just purchase a 1st hand revo few months back. My fuel consumption is really terrible like 18km/litre under normal riding without dragging. Isit normal that revo drink petrol like water? Cause some threads I read mention it could go for 24 to 25km/litre. Kindly advise.

I've been reading about bad mileage from so many users and that scares me. Super 4 is one of the contenders for my next bike.

Assuming a new well maintain super 4, whats the FC that I should be expecting ?

my spec 3 is only getting 18-19km/l no matter how conservative I ride which is kinda high imo.

is there anything I should send for checking? tyre pressure is 235 front and 265 rear, no pillion 90% all time

For me :

For sg road, ard 300km BEFORE reserve

For Nshw, ard 300km INCLUDING Reserve

Varies on condition

Try riding on Nshw at a constant speed, see if u get constant FC

I think that's all that can be contributed.. Lol.

My Spec 1 FC is also very bad, considering that my bike is fully stocked and I'm only 43 kg -.-

16km/l. Piang

The only constant is change... So keep changing.
