Hello,

I'm quite distraught today. My favourite Motorola SLVR L6 had been in the rain and also, fell out of my pocket with a low drop height.

When I picked it up, there was no display and no light; the phone didn't react. Took out the battery, dried the phone, and reseated the battery. Backlighting came on, turned off, and that was it. It wouldn't turn on anymore.

Worse still, all my contacts and my data are in phone memory. Do you know of any shops here that specialize in repair and memory access (so that I can at least extract the data and contacts from my phone).

Please help. I sibeh sian already

My phone was able to be turned on so that I could extract the contents. But again, my phone display is totally black. Would you know how to tackle this problem?

Not always Damaged.

Is your phone still under warrenty? If not, no harm DIY yourself to clean the interior.

I have no idea whether my phone is still under warranty. That fella that sold it to me gave me a phone + accessories in a box. :slapforehead:

Hai, might as well find some torx screwdrivers and, well, try not to screw the warranty lo.

Sucky pun, I know.
