Personal Accident Insurance while riding overseas.

Hi all, Anybody knows if there is such a thing as an insurance coverage for say 1 week while you are touring? Meaning, the insurance is specifically to cover you in case of an accident. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Ah. thats exactly what i meant.. just can't find the correct word at the point of posting.. hehe. So u know of any?

lots of insurers sell travel insurance. for example, you can buy Tenet's Traveljoy online.

 

make sure that you buy a policy that suits your purpose.

you must make sure that the policy doesn't exclude motorcycling. most travel policies don't exclude this, but if you look at Income's travel policy, motorcycling is excluded under general exclusion 2(f).

 

you should talk to the insurance company's rep before you buy to make sure that you know what's covered and also to tell them that you're going on a motorcycling trip for social purposes. then read the policy before you travel to make sure that what they say is right.
