Hi guys, just bought my grey GTS on Saturday.

Silly me pumped petrol, spilled some out, so wash a bit with water when cover open. My guess is some got into the gas tank. Now engine dies from idle, or will die when revving. Heng happened before I got onto expressway. And also, parked behind a workshop.

Did the servicing package at Unique Motorsports, bike/servicing no problem, just that they have communication problem. Email them, say can go down Toh Guan, reach there say nobody tell them, need to order parts. Bring back Tuesday evening, tell me Wednesday by lunch ready. Call them at lunch time, one guy say not ready, 5 or 6pm then can. Hang up, pissed off, decided to call them to ask them no need change tires. Who knows this time got the correct guy, say half an hour ready.

See a lot of bikes there, so guess the servicing is alright, but they really need to brush up on the communication part.

Hope to meet up one day!

Hi bro, welcome to the club. I m new too and I am also shocked to know the kind of attitude motorbike workshop has. I owned a car too, the car workshop are more proffesional. Even for Mah Motor the main dealer for our bike has this kind of attitude towards their customer. I bought my bike from them. After sales service cannot make it.

Nevertheless, im still looking for recommendation from members here for a reliable scooter workshop.

Oh called for tow, paid for new belt and rollers. Was about time to change anyway, about less than 1000km to the recommended 12000km for the change of belt. I think been wacking the bike too hard, been to port dickson and malacca on 2 separate trips during this 12000km

Posted

Wow!

You rode up at 100km/hr?

Thumbs up! Honestly I don't have that much of patience! Riding from woodlands to seletar I alr will feel kinda bored with the speed and irritated! Hahaha

Today went for petrol pumping, indeed the nozzle can push all the way in... pump like a car...lol...thumbs up!

I went yesterday. Insert the nozzle and started the pump. Thought will auto stop but in the end still spilled out again.

I have problem with the pump nozzle round flap that interfere with our petrol cap.

Ya...agree on that... will spill out abit... but better than holding the nozzle before the flap and spill out even more.

Hi Lowyy,

Seriously on my personal of view that key hole lock was not very important to me. You may check with members over here, how many of them got lock that. The most importat you must have the spare key. If ppl want to steal your bike the key hole lock is nothing, other brand of bike oso using.

So you mean that the key you got from Regina can use to open and close the magnetic ignition cover thingy. I mean the thing beside the hole you put in your key at the ignition. From what i know that thing is magnetic and i tried using my friend's key, cannot open.

"éšä»”,è¦åŽ»å—Ž"("Handsome, want to go")?!!! wahahaha....

Yesterday I went to the shop beside Regina to make 2 normal spare keys. After that cannot start the engine. Then realised side stand down, damn stupid. Anyway the shop owner also sell the more expensive spare key with the key opener one.

Yup so my point all along was, if you dont need the key hole lock, any spare key that you made can serve the purpose of starting the bike. Yup. But if you use the magnetic lock like me, the magnetic lock is unique to the series number of the key and you would have to buy the original key.

Hi Guys,

Just joined the SYM gts 200 grp by purchasing a 2nd one, a month ago.

Done my full service + flushing @ Asp ubi close to $200.

FC ranges from 28 to 33.5. Idling @1.5K rpm

full tank can go 380km before topping up. Anyone know our tank contain how litres?

Donno how to see if going reserve anot, cos until 380 Km no indication light is given

6.2K rpm -90Km/h

7k rpm -100 km/h ( feeling a little bit strain on engine)

Max speed went to 115km/h only. hehe

OVerall, this bike is GREAT!!! suits my daily travel. Large comfort seat, both disc brake.

Now i'm looking into changing the rear shock absorber. Anyone here have any recommendation to share ; )
