i bought my st 200 frm bike production for $7k ( machine price + coe@ $1457 ) exclude insurance and IU unit. bought it last june. now maybe price ard there maybe $7.5?? i'm nt sure. servicing is nt $200 la.. normal servicing is change oil n alternate oil change, change oil filter.. at most $40 or less. 12000km den full service ..change the belt n rollers n other stuff. it comes in a package . from $160- $220 depending on which shop u go la. but let me warn u.. bike production service is ****ed up.bt they compansate it wif low priced new bikes. so for me, i take the bike n **** off also..juz come bck mthly for paying installment.. ahahah. hope this helps

Please recommend a suitable 3rd party exhaust pipe for SYM GTS 200. The bracket broke off, exhaust pipe dropped and brushed over by another vehicle. Or anyone knows of any shop doing welding?

Please drop me a msg if you have any suitable pipes for sale asap, thanks

If Ts has class 2A license, I'll recommend u to get joymax 300i evo. It is more powerful and the price differs is not very wide if u go to the correct shop. The fc dat Joymax will get u is abt 30-32km/l when running in. One of the most economical bike for 2A while not compromising the power of the vehicle

Sorry brothers, i just purchase my gilera vxr200 yr 2005. I think its fuel consumption is high. I can only travelled around 180-190km for a full tank.. Is that normal ??

Hi,

I bought used SYM GTS 200 recently and found that the speedometer was dead - actually the sensor was dead.I asked the dealer to change the sensor for me and he replaced it from a similar scraped/accident bike. But with the replaced sensor the speedometer is showing double speed. If I drive for 6KM - it shows 12KM on the reading. If I drive at 40kmph it shows 80kmph. Dealer told me that he will order a new one and replace it for me next week. But I think its just a matter of some settings somewhere - anyone have idea if I can fix this up by doing some settings?

Hi to all biker bros and sistas :)

Been reading your forums for a couple of weeks now. Looking to get my first bike. The above 3 are some I came across. and read about them separately.

Could you please help me to choose between them? Or suggest any alternatives? You must have guessed by now that I am looking for a class 2B bike.

Preferring a new bike with installment payment. But second hand bikes are also fine. I just dont want to change bike too often. So probably will want to stick with this new bike for some time

Hope to be better informed after the experienced advice from u all

cheers

I have also been looking at the scoots that you have listed, decided to go with the GTS last week. Collecting end of the month. After I confirmed the bike, I came across the Kymco Downtown 125... which meets my criteria as well. Perhaps listing out your priorities will help decide on the bike. For me, priorities are:

1. Good, strong modern headlights.

2. Decent storage, at least 1 FF helmet or laptop

3. $600 +- yearly depreciation

4. 30+ km/l efficiency

5. Decent mechanic near my place ( east)

6. 10L fuel tank

BTW i just passed and have been riding only 2 months, the GTS will be my 3rd bike !!!

In my viewpoint,

In terms of looks, maintenance and repairs

SYM GTS200 > SYM Joyride 200i Evo > PCX 125

In terms of reliability and convenience,

SYM Joyride 200i Evo > SYM GTS200 > PCX 125

Just my point of view.

hi dude,

1. I'm thinking of getting the gts200, in fact, did some paperwork on a used FBCxxx (2018). but now i'm thinking will it be better buying new instead? the used bike went for engine overhaul, accident free.

2. speedometer, think it's better to just wait for the full part replacement?

3. how many km you've done? mah motors is the agent right?
