Yes Bro Scooter, a fruitful advice from 0401897D I got an irresistible offer from Mah Motors @ 9400 .... after less 350, freebies 2 givi raincoats, rack & 47lt storage box. Yesterday went to Taihin to purchase gear oil SAE85-140, engine oil & coolant.

Sound good!! Looks like you will be enjoying your new toy.

so fast you buy gear oil, EO & coolant for what?

according to the manual, gotta change the engine & gear oil once reach 300km .... well, i've accomplished that in 3 days lol. As for Coolant, being mere "kiasu". Btw Taihin has lots of gadgets to improve GTS performance ... gonna be my frequent hangout place, i guess lol

I only change EO when I feel my bike not as smooth.

Risky isn't it? Actually depends on individual preferences .... each knows their bike performance better than others. Am thinking of upgrading the "horns" to something slightly louder i.e car horns. Anyone upgrade before?

Thanks fellas for the info.

Btw found a shop close to as phoon, changed oil for $10. Semi-syn though. But dun see any diff in performance so far.

Kinda curious, what caused the coil & rectifier to give way?

That's a good question. I am not tech enough to give an answer. But the wires and connectors are slightly burnt and my charging is very slow. My voltage drop to 8.9v, so i guess i have no choice but to change both the faulty parts and reload a fresh battery. Now my voltage is at 14-14.4v.

I do appreciate your kindness as to share & kinda make me on my heel over the variables on voltage. How to know of any changes on the voltage, any indicators etc?

Normally voltage with around 13.8-14-4v... thats a healthy range. If it drop below 12v the battery is consider weak but still able to crank and use. If the voltage is above 14.5 its over charging. Bro ray you can install a voltmeter to monitor your battery strength. It cost around $30-$50+ depending on how simply your voltmeter is. As for horn... I am currently using Hella Strongtone. Not the loudest but enough to get your attention. If you are free join us for the mega meet up on the 20th. Get to meet some of the DIY guru on that day. Bro bobo, thanks for the advice ... will get Taihin to fix the voltmeter & loud horns. In order to get a better acceleration from rest, should i change the variator or the weights?
