Bike still insured with illegal mods?

If you use illegal exhaust, are you still insured?

 

Don't care too much about fine. More worried about insurance.

Think you will have to inform your insurance company about the legal mods. About illegal ones, i dont think its covered. Maybe others have better knowledge about this.

i just read an article regarding this issue.... but for cars...

 

even with legal mods like sport rims... certain insurance companies like AVIVA void your insurance immediately

 

illegal pipe confirm cannot one...

If the illegal modification compromises the safety, integrity or stability of the bike, the insurers may choose to indemnify themselves and refuse your claim.
