We did this trip last year but we are doing again this year for 2 reasons. One, we had a small number last year and I think its a waste as I think this trip would be a great experience for many. Two, last year there were too many people going into the cave. This time, because its Good Friday hols, and Malaysia do not observe this hols, l hope the crowd would be much lesser. There were groups of 30-50 pax last year and we had to share a guide with 30 pax! So lets hope we have a dedicated guide this year!

Very good question. Yes they have! Just bring plastic bags for your cave soiled gear to strap on your bike when we are heading to the hotel. Lets try to get into hotel decently clean ...

We did this trip last year but we are doing again this year for 2 reasons. One, we had a small number last year and I think its a waste as I think this trip would be a great experience for many. Two, last year there were too many people going into the cave. This time, because its Good Friday hols, and Malaysia do not observe this hols, l hope the crowd would be much lesser. There were groups of 30-50 pax last year and we had to share a guide with 30 pax! So lets hope we have a dedicated guide this year!

 

So if you are interested for this trip, please add your names as soon as possible as I need to book rooms. And since its just 4 weeks away, we have very little time. Thanks!

Dear Cavers,

 

This is my suggestion for what to bring for this particular cave. Other caves might differ.

 

This is just recommeded:

 

1) Wear something long enough to protect you thighs - as we will be using our bottoms to slide down a huge rock

2) We WILL get wet, so wear something appropriate

3) As we will be walking in water with lots of sand, a strapped sandles would be good. Shoes are ok too, but you might have to take your shoes off now and then to clear away the sand. Slippers are not recommended.

4) Head torch is recommended, if not at least a hand torch....You will definately need a torch.....

5) Gloves will be provided - so no worries here

6) Please make sure that you water proof everything.

7) A sling bag is recommended, as at times you will need your hands to move around and you don't want to be holding things.

8) Please protect your delicate items like camera with padded casing or cloth so that it doesn't get knocked around
