the instructor will have last man and usually he rides the class 2 bike to block other traffic. Watch out for lorries. Cars usually stay far far from all the p plates. Lorry and trucks… abit Bo chap or else is purposely want to scare you.. some are really idiots… 🙄🙄🙄

finally got some time and energy to recap on the TP test..... so here's the estimated timeline cos i sort of kena memory loss after the test 😅 so hope it helps whoever is going SSDC for TP soon..

7am - Report at level 5 waiting area. total there are supposedly 50 ppl taking TP today. 4 didnt turn up.

7.15am - Registration and take your number tag. since im pretty old in the group, my number tag is 7. Lucky 7. hehe

7.20am - once you get the number tag, u can go straight down to the circuit for warm up.

8am - wait at the level 1 waiting room just beside the circuit for further instructions. Instructor will also give briefing and some recap on what to look out for during the circuit

8.30am - go out in rows of 10 and standby ur PDL n IC to show the TP. read out your name and IC number louder in case they cannot hear

8.45am - circuit test starts

9.05am - ended my circuit test. went pretty well i guess? at least no major mistakes. stalled at the ebrake but never got penalised.. phew.. now its just a waiting game for everyone to be back from circuit.. if your number is called, means u can go home already. since i didnt do any faults during the circuit n did all my blindspot check, im pretty sure it was a pass for me la. minor points just give only nvm.

10.30am - 1/4 of the class is gone by now.. then start of road test... almost had a heart attack becos the instructor say theres a heavy storm outside n asked if anyone wanna wear raincoat or not. but luckily it stopped just before the road test. the riders number 1, 2, 5 before me are all gone so im 4th in the position to go out for test.

10.40am - ended my road test... i was quite fortunate that the traffic was smooth and the traffic lights were all in favour. i kept a very wide distance from the rider in front and it was a wise choice. becos he end up failing his test for not giving way to traffic cos a car was too close to him. the perks of keeping a wide distance from the rider infront of u is that when you go back to the sch gate, u can now take the 1st position instead of fearing to align to arrow on the floor. the rain also starting pouring when i was near the sch gate so i wasnt drenched. sadly, cos the rider in front was slower than expected, i still had to go into the 2nd position turning into the gate. almost lose my balance there trying to stop on top of the arrow. thankfully i manage to get into position n faster zoom my way back to the end point.

12pm - finally results are out. it was so scary becos they were jumping around the numbers. somemore they dun come in n call the number all at once. they came in, no. 33 / 38. then 10 min later, no. 3 / 6. then another 10 min later, no. 44 / 45 /46. n..... only 23 people passed in the end. then we were shown the legendary congratulation ppt slide. i cried the moment i realised i passed. 😅 we have to take the pledge for being a safe rider and stay alive. after which, the instructor brought us to level 3 to pay for the expressway familiarization riding then we can go off for lunch

1.50 pm - report back at level 5 to take the number tag. no. 4 couldnt take the expressway riding so end up im the 1st rider.

3pm - tbh i wasnt looking at where we were going. i only remember exiting lentor and went kranji then SLE back to the sch.

3.30pm - took back our result slips and barely just pass the test at 18 demerit points 😂 but i think alot of points are bullshit 1 cos i get penalise for incorrect posture moving off / stopping x2. and theres a roll back on slope too. i briefly remember i didnt roll back at all but oh well. no point arguing. a pass is a pass and now im a qualified rider too!! hehehehe

so in case anyone is interested to know, i have spent a total of $1,448.50 for the whole course becos im not the brightest student there..

Congrats on getting your 2B after a 2nd enrolment!
your survived the Long 2B journey!!

you are a driver, so now with a bike license and with some riding time on the road you may find yourself doing all the "cheats" bikers like to do which can be extremely dangerous, things like zooming in  between cars in less then a flash..

when you driving, you probably encounter a lot of these, so try to do less of it yourself when on the bike. It is just PURE dangerous..
seem 1 biker buang beside me when he tried to do that., cuts from my rear left to the my right side and got hit by the car coming from the right rear.

thanks!!! it was a total mental torture yesterday sia.. i actually never expect that i would be able to get the bike license anymore.. but im really glad that i just bite the bullet and went thru the entire course again.

haha i dun think i would dare to lane split.. its so dangerous.. even when driving i also dun dare to squeeze lane.. nowadays alot of assholes on the road who dont check their blindspot when they do lane changing.. need to be at full concentration when driving / riding.

increase your protection level 1st before do others things on the bike..

slowly build up the comfort level on lane splitting, if your hubby rides too, can get him to go together, get a comms set and communicate..

sometimes he led and you follow and switch..  give each other pointers from there on..

if both got cam, even better to review and discuss

ride safe out there!!
