Hi guys...

 

i just bought a Laptop with the new vista OS.\

 

but currently i got problem logging it onto my house wireless router... :help:

 

if using win XP we can check the IP add by running the 'ipconfig' thingy...

 

but how to go about doing this on the Vista.... :giddy:

Do you mean to say you can't log on to the wireless router because you don't know the IP address of it?

 

Or that you know the router's IP address, but just can't seem to log on to it?

 

BTW, ipconfig only checks your own computer's IP address. Not the far-end router.

To check your own IP address in Vista, you can still do the IPconfig way. Or you can do it this way:

i seem to have this problem too....

 

the new laptop i am using (vista home premium) can't allows me to surf the net...

 

I am at wit ends how to rectify it....

 

Any vista user facing the same problem?
