Top box of LX can put a Nolan N101. GT's top box is bigger. What do you think???:cheeky:

I am about 1.62m, the height of GT hasn't been a problem to me.

Hahaha.... can't tell you much on that. GT sold even before I got a chance to experience the belt change. Afterall, hubby was the 1 riding it more often than I do. Me ride LX.

Me ride and have fun, hubby is the one dealing with all the maintenance.

Maybe you would like to join the outings and find out more from others.

guys..

i'm interested in gettin a gt200.. but i'm worried the seat height might be too high for me.. izit difficult to park the bike ? one good example is the carpark beside borders..

anyway i'm lookin for relaxed ride for zippin ard town..

GT200 is the most comfortable I have ever owned. Still regret to let it go... it is not only good for city riding, it is also good for touring. Storage wise...this bike is king, you can stuff as much things as 4 hands can carry...

Guess seat height shouldn't be an issue, my wife is 1.62m & she has no problem handling it.

u can come along, then u can gauge on my gt200. to have a better feel.

Upkeep huh...

belt is around 100+++ which lasts between 12000km - 18000km.

Rollers is around 30---, which u need to change, best is, with the belt to have constant performance.

Tires... rear 10000km+-, front 15000km+-, one is around 80+-.

Coolant, $4 per 500ml. Full capacity is 1 litre. Can last more than 6 months.

Engine oil, 1 litre to 1.2 litres (without and with oil filter changed)

Recommended is every 5000km. 5w40 grade. $20+- for a litre.

Fuel Con, 25-30km/litre. Full tank is 10 litres.

so far is roughly all these,

can... nothing is impossible, just go to Seng Kwang if you want to have nice stainless steel bracket... Vespa box built is not as good, it breaks easily (may be for safety reason) but don't you think a bit weird to have Aprillia with Vespa box, tot Aprilia has their own box... or you can get a Givi and do a re-spray, 2k paint will cost you less than 100.

Hey guys,

i need to ask you all some questions cos ever since my bike came back from the vespa warranty servicing, the ride has been very hard and bumpy.

i'm riding an ET8.

i suspect the hard ride is due to the tires having insufficient air.

i went to the petrol station and pumped my back tire to 27PSI and front to 24PSI. but then after about 2 days of riding, the ride was bumpy again.

when i checked the rear tire, it was down to 21.

so i should be having a tire leak right? where do u think i can change my tire? i'm thinking of not going back to piaggio since they were the one who caused the problem and might cause even more problems.

how much would a change cost?

thanks!

Hi cena, hmm, how did u check the 21 psi? is it the first reading when u pump the air in? If it is, then it is "not as accurate". Cos even when u jus finish pumping ur tires, the reading will drop by around 10kpa from the initial reading.

But the sudden drop to 21 from 27 does sound suspect. You might wanna go to any mech, to verify the leakage. Cos its gonna cost $60-80 for tires and labour. Its additional cost if its not worn out or not leaking.

I'll recommend u to go to tong aik (http://www.teamvespa.com.sg) which I frequent. I'm currently using bridgestone battlax BT02, which is a fine tire so far. They shd have that in 10 inch.

2 cents.
