guys, the reason why i put up the meet-up for alameen was this, as there was response asking for subsequent meetup after the last one at wld dr 14, but only 2 names were put-up, if everyone has the mentality of 'wait and see how' then no outing in sbf would be possible in the 1st place....

 

so if u guys has the wish to meet-up, create and post the meetup template...ok???

 

as for the NANAS trip, those yet to go, pls go for the trip if u love animals, its truly a once in a lifetime experience where u'll nv ever have the chance to be surrounded by the huge amounts of dogs elsewhere....

should i overhaul my bike ? its a FV plate, COE end at 2012 . and mayb riding for another year till 2011 april. Problem i facing now is leaking of EO, gear 6 abit jerky .. and abit no power..

Leaking engine oil just change the rubber gasket will do.

No power, jerky maybe clutch lining worn off? :confused:

 

If so no need for overhaul.

Motorcyclist are the nicest people on the road, try not to kill us.

oh... one of the gear jerky...? any rattling sound...? if yes, you seriously should service it soon... unless you want to be me... I have literally destroyed my engine... and the root cause was that a gear was getting spoilt... :sian:

you got ur point there.. i ask the technicial, he say is the gear spoilt.. he say if i change that gear, rather i overhaul.. that my main issue..

I think its not so obvious on the pic that I have... but yea the gear teeth are much shorter as compared to when it was intact...

Hang on, if there is rattling sound, you might want to check the timing chain.

If it gets worse and worse, louder and more obvious later in the next few weeks, then confirm need to overhaul.

 

Otherwise when the chain gives way when the engine is moving, your piston & crankshaft sure K.O

 

I remembered some months back got 1 guy from our forum the engine had to overhaul at Planet because of something like that. Anyone remembered who it was? :confused:

om gosh. how much u repairing for that ? i think, is my gear 6 .. and nth else .. nth happen when change to 1 ~ 5 gear , untill 6 .. then the sound lai liao.. sometime no sound, only jerky..

whole top block is useless, its not a simple cracked its chipped off, and the scores inside the wall are...well should have seen the piston and u can imagine liao....
