Check whether crash bar and foot peg has evidence of a crash. If S4 buang, these items usually take the brunt of the fall. Check the speedo to see if its working, see if fuel gauge is working, S4 speedo and all, not cheap to replace especially Spec 1 onwards. start the bike cold and see if battery is fine, if can use volt meter to test the batteries charging correctly. If can, play with the engine till fan is on, check if the engine temp light comes on, coolant, fan, thermostat are common things for S4 to go haywire. Lastly check fork seal and rear suspension. See if its wet or leaking. Check wheel bearing too by shaking the wheel side to side if it move. Hmmm might need to check brake pump and hoses too. Might need to change those too. Way aha for now that's all I can recall.

Some mechanic will take advantage and ask you to change stuff that is still ok haha. So far my experienced with a super 4, it's really good and reliable, especially that engine. Mine was 14 yrs old. But ah electronics, cooling system and suspension are the stuff you might need to spend cos previous owners tend to neglect these items. Low maintenance don't mean no maintenance. Haha

Hi guys.. Across this thread ah.. Sorry if i hijack it.. Well If the bike is under bikeshop A, can bring to your own preferred bike shop and ask the mech to check??

No problem. Some ppl do get their bikes from certain places but die die goes back to their favorite mechanic for servicing
