Morning Everyone!

Guess there must always be Mondays to have Fridays!!

Sorry to hear about the burning incident with the bike, Constructicon. Hope its gets sorted out soon.

As for the rest what did you do??

I went on a day ride with some of the guys here.

Gone to Muar for the ride and it was excellent. Enjoyed the ride more than the sights along the way..... its the feel of the road that never ends and the large landscape that never fails to leave me in awe and beathless.

The ride took only 2 hours to Muar... some stretches of the "old" roads we probably went too slow... and one of us really nearly "dozed off". But he was a speed junkie.

In our group, there are a mixture of riders and riding styles... good to see the speed junkies shooting off in the horizon.... whilst the rest of the pack cruises along. The speed junkies will then stop and slow before the turn off point to wait for the cruising pack. It is all good teamwork and organising... the speed junkies are the leading/recce pack...lol

Have bike will ride i guess... coz we had a phantom 150 with us and he hits 140-160 easy....

So those who owns a bike and parks it at home during the weekend.... come join the group for a short day ride.... and there is one organised every weekend.... and i am dead certain its every week.... someone is organising something to somewhere.

Morning waking a little earlier have a short ride... then cap off the day with a dinner, a nice bike wash and petrol top up. That's what i call a great weekend!!:thumb:

seen the strait times, fazer150 at hong leong liao

next time our outing or touring got include them bo?

:cheeky:

NO wonder when I stopped at the traffic lights this morning, I saw an Indian uncle stopped besides me, so I turned to my left and took a look at his ride, I saw a Yamaha logo on his tank and a word "Fazer150" on his right side fairing, I thot what the @^#% bike is that?? Looks like a CBR150 (or CBR125??) but yet how come got the Yamaha logo (a Yamaha bike)??

I was wondering at the traffic lights, Fazer got 150cc meh???

IMHO, I think it is a bit ugly...

With NO offence to you Fazers riders here, with NO intentions to offend anyone here, but I still love the look of the FZ1 (with half fairings)... :thumb:

Dun hope.....make it happen.:thumb:

Some just keep on hoping..... then there are those who makes it happen.

The ones who hope...some of them today are still hoping......:giddy:

Those who makes it happen has been to many many day rides almost every weekend.

Big bikes small bikes alike.... the trunk roads in Malaysia allows you to enjoy your ride. Its really not about the destination.... its the ride.....

Here in Singapore... you can enjoy your ride too but in spurts..... spurts of the distance between traffic lights or you'll have to turn off to some connecting expressway..... well of course they'll be those who loves going round and round the island but then... you'll probably complete it in...... what?...40-60mins?

Some of us have families or work.... i totally understand. But once a fortnight...once a month or hell... even once a quarter? You'll probably can afford the time and shift your schedule.

Procrastination is the word. Its want or dun want.... maybe does not cut it.:dot: :dot:

Come on guys.....gals..... dun expect others to read your mind.... if you are keen..... come forward to ask...enquire.... there is a group going somewhere almost every week!! You'll probably need money for petrol.... and your lunch, maybe dinner and a bike wash..... all in RMs!!!:thumb:

I'll probably shut up now....lol....

Hope to see more people joining the day rides on the weekends!!

There is one heading to Deal's Gap/Genting on 5th July.

No one is a hard core tourer... its not all grimey work.... neither do we need to speed.... take it slow... there will always be a "sweeper". Someone to tail the pack, to make sure......NO ONE IS LEFT BEHIND!!! and i mean it!!

Ride sensibly within your own means.... we are to enjoy the ride.... not "speed time" our trip.o_O

4 weeks??? I am sure there can be shorter lead time.

Check with a couple of shops. Guess you'll be out for a couple of weeks at least in this case.

Have u tried Autocycle? They bring in parts for Yamaha as well. Hope you have better luck than 4 weeks.
