I purchase it off ebay, Scorpion YTZ14S, direct replacement for our OEM battery. Cost around S$120.

stock tyres was bt020. good on dry roads, terrible on wets.:sian:

 

hm,no idea how long pr2 tyres will last cause this is my very 1st aftermarket tyres:faint:

 

PR2 is good bro! :thumb:

 

i been using it for my 2nd set of aftermarket tires already...

changed into my 1st set of PR2 at early Oct 09 and 2nd set of "R"-PR2 at 31st Dec 09...

cornering at relatively wet road is still as good as cornering at dry road but of cus, cornering at dry road give you more confidence... hahahaha! :D

 

in fact, i rarely corners... :p

no bro, usually weekend i wouldn't be around de unless it's morning duty which occurs once every 2 mths... but not today... ;)

 

actually i was thinking of going to motoWorld to check on my eSystem de cus i think it's kinda not pumping the oil out... talked to nick on thurs at motoWorld Lavender and he suggest me visiting the HQ to check it out but i'm kinda lazy today to ride out cus later 4pm i got RT and after that going to IT show... ;)

 

2moro is my usual wash & wax day... :p

Bros, anyone has changed tyre at lab. the price is cheap for pilot rd2, $320.

just wondering if the tyre is the same as the ones selling at motorshop? just worry that there may have differences even thought the model is the same.

 

Does lab do a proper balancing for tyre too?

pure madness. traffic everywhere..been awhile since need to battle human and road traffic congestion:cheeky:...

 

p.s. park ure vehicles at marina square, a lot of spaces there:thumb:

 

Managed to get a good deal on a laptop for my pillion. bringing it back was a challenge though, i need boxes~.:faint:

my previous owner sent the bike to LAB to change tyre. First the rear wheel was not aligned properly. And after rework, all seems fine until i sent the bike for tyre change. The previous mech has overt0ghten the rear axle thereby stripping the thread. Replacing the axle costs S$80... no alternatives.

 

Note : the rear axle lock nut is a nu-lok type, so no need to tighten so hard.

 

Thus, if you are going to LAB to change tyre, watch the mech when he is tightening the axle... better still, do it yourself.

i installed the vizi-tec brake light modulator yesterday. it was easy plug and play. it came with the correct connector. unlike the usual blinkers, this one will :

- flash a few times before becoming stable

- not flash when in stop and go traffic, thereby not irritating road users behind

- set to flash when you stopped at a traffic light and want to get the attention of cars approaching your rear

- a few other functions too, all triggered by the way you tap your brakes.

i think its like US$80 including shipping. My first set did not turn up, but the seller went ahead and sent me a second set, no charge.

 

in my honest view, i believe it helps minimise being collided from the rear.

We got acer laptop (I forgot which model) for $1288.freebies include 3 year warranty, bag, cooler and mouse.

 

Went for acer as the price is reasonable for the specs.

 

Initially wanted to get Asus but it's 200-300 more

than acer of the same specs..

 

Hm..luckily manage to balance like all the shopping stuffs on top of my tank...feel that boxes will come in handy in the near future..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Its almost impossible to check-in batteries in the airport nowsadays. I tried once two years back and it was a pain in the ass (Tokyo airport).

Check where the tyre is made: If "Made in Spain" on the left side should be the best quality. If heard if made elsewhere (Thailand etc) may be a cheaper version with inferior compounds....
