i have rode the fz6 and the z1000. in comparison, the z1000 has better suspension, brakes, handling, riding posture, power & ease of splitting traffic. most impt of all is the handling.... bike turns into corner very easily.

 

the only advantage of the fz6 over the zed is the better fuel consumption and wind protection.
