:) I had just bought a new Frazer 600 07 model, I think Im having a problem of the bike with high fuel consumption. 270km hit Reserve liao. Pump abt 15L... I find it high Consumption. :angry:

 

Does Voltage stab and grounding help?? Can this FI ver of Frazer in Voltage Stab?? K&N filter help?

 

Any Suggestion??

Is there anyway to reduce the heat coming from the exhaust pipe for Fz6 07 model? Veri Hot leh... The engine is super hot!!!

Anyway to reduce the heat too???

 

maybe can wrap the exhuast pipe?? Change to a better engine oil and coolant.. Or install cold air intake like car do....??

270km / 15L = 18km/L. Its pretty common during the run-in/breakin-in. I got FC as low as 17km/L during run-in. Now having a mileage of 1200+km on my odometer. i managed to secure a 19.5km/L in sg road.

 

In NSH, i got 20-22km/L during run-in.

 

In SG, during the first 1000km, 17km/L.

 

In SG, at 1200km, 19.6km/L.

relating a silly incident...when i was on p plate, i was stopped by TP for speeding but he let me off. i kan chiong kick start my bike and i told him to move off 1st. thinking bk i was such a big KUKU...why e heck was i thinking.

You wanna ride the bike, learn the proper name... its FAZER... :angel:

 

Anyway VS and grounding won't do anything to your bike... Its always a psychological effect...

 

Since you are still running in, let the engine break in proper first...

 

What are your riding patterns???

hi, i am not sure weather it is normal abt ur fc.. 270km is low but not very low.. my fz6 07 with reserve tank was 368.3km with 66km on the f-trip..

My fren actually went till 80km on the f-trip.. when i top up my tank the petrol meter is only 17++ litres.. so i hv about 2 litres left in the tank..

maybe its the way u ride...

Btw my bike is only 1 mth old.. mileage 4k.. hehehe..

Went to Desaru via Mersing-Sedili twice during running in.

After 1st oil change went to Muar den KL and back...

hehehe.. I love my FZ6..

Of Course he let you off. He just stop you so that he can take a look at you & your Driving Licence. :)

the reserve is always 1L earlier on most of our bikes... and you can never get max petrol into the tank unless you top up to the brim...

Tank is 19.4L before top of the brim.F-trip can go till 80-90km before engine die.(cause I try before).My TDM tank on paper is 20L.I squeeze in almost 22L before.

Past rides are already history....

Current ride: FW VFR 800 ABS
