Should be 900+ for Fazer 600. I bought it at 25 yrs old too. Erm, which is 2 months ago. Should be roughly round that price.

Perhaps u should go to the showrooms, go sit and touch the bikes. See which bike suit u most and which u like most.

Fazer 600 is relatively cheaper to maintain compared to Fazer 1000. But the trade-off is the power.

I might be Left Handed, But I'm Always RIGHT

DIY list

1. Volt Meter

2. Air Box Mod

3. Electric Horn

4. Dual Head Light

5. Removing of Mid Pipe's Cat

Which is a better buy, Fazer 600 or 1000?

Hows the fuel consumption and maintenance respectively?

And for someone who is 27yrs old, for a 3rd party fire and theft insurance, is roughly how much for each? thanks alot!

Very much up to individual i'll say. FC wise, i think Fazer 600 is better but thats because of a smaller capacity ( which means lesser power ).

Outlook wise, both looks gorgeous to me. I think for 26yrs old, Fazer 600 insurance is roughly 850 (AIG or was it AXA ). U can get Alliance which is slightly cheaper.

The FC thing can control one.

Guess which word had this meaning.

1. Any code or set of principles containing different provisions for one group of people than for another, esp. an unwritten code of sexual behavior permitting men more freedom than women.

2. A set of principles permitting greater opportunity or liberty to one than to another, especially the granting of greater sexual freedom to men than to women.

3. A set of principles establishing different provisions for one group than another; also, specifically, allowing men more sexual freedom than women.

Hi Fazer rider,

What is the RPM at 100 km/h for 07FZ1 and 07FZ6.

And what is the vibration zone (RPM) for 07FZ1 and 07FZ6.

In the showroom, these two bikes are outstanding. Like to share your experience on riding performance on your Fazer?

Why I kept my SV for more then 10:thumb:yrs?

Its a light and fun bike:cool:.

I'm riding a 07 FZ1. For my bike at 6th gear 4000 rpm, the speed is 98 km/h, so I guess 100 km/h is like 4100 rpm.

At 4500 rpm, the mirrors get a bit fuzzy and the screen may buzz slightly but it's not really a bother to me.

I use this bike for touring as well as daily transport and it excels at both. For touring, even after riding for hours, I don't feel any aches and pain, other than a sore butt. The handling is sharp yet stable; to me, the power delivery could be a bit abrupt, as it only comes to life after 5000 rpm.

Below 5000 rpm, the bike is civilized, perfect for the daily commute. Easy to squeeze through the morning traffic but it could get pretty hot if you are stuck.

Fuel consumption is not so good for me; spirited riding will net 12-13 km/l, and if you stay at 4000 rpm most of the way, you'll get 14-15 km/l. For touring, I tried staying at 120km/h at around 5000 rpm and I got 16.5 km/l.

Nice. Thanx for the valuable and informative feedback. What colour is your 07 FZ1? Just wondering if anyone has the blue one in photo... :)
