May still be a battery prob, or it could also be a wiring short or problem in your instrument panel.

 

From my experience, the sound came first. After a while, the bike's electrical seemed to go crazy.

 

Oh no...wonder how much this is gonna set me back..

 

so back then, your problem was just having to replace the batt ?

Hmmm.. Saw somewhere that it's $100++, close to $200.. that's a lot of money for a batt.

I think, before you go for the batt change, take it to a trusted mech to check the wiring harness or instrument panel to check for shorts.

 

Batt is abt $150+ IIRC....

Tats the price quote for the original batt . Can get cheaper versions at LAB for less than $100 .
