mid pipe have one. but the L pipe there at the bottom of the bike got one where the 4 header join to 1. there got 1 more cat. and yes, when u decat, u need to cut and weld it back. just like those 2 stroker bikes who want to decat

my gpr pipe has been "big core" (change the muffler to biger core)

& rewrapped the cotton.

pipe sound better abit (not so lao hong)

inspection should nt b a prob.....

guys, i jus got a technical drawing from G-Max if purchase the exhaust from them. seems it's the end can all the way to the connector to the headers. looks like the catalyst was included and hence the stock one was removed!

hence, guess such cutting of catalyst and weld back would be unnecessary. ;D let me know if any of you r interested in the drawing. i can share it with everyone. : ) btw, i think this drawing can be found in www too. think i seen it somewhere ard last time. ;D

Serious ah Yuan??Cut then weld back??Siao liao if weld wrongly stock pipe end up like the new Leo Vince GP pipe(got so many weldings)..

I think all headers have catalyser coz if I'm not wrong,it's a kind of standard thingy that bikes have to pass through some tests.. I might be wrong.. Any Fazer6 riders care to give their input??

 

I dun think so that all 4 headers comes with CAT within (correct me if i am wrong for FZ6 model). Possible in the Union pipes. If not your bike will be badly suffocated.

 

CAT is bad to 'breathing' for the exhaust. There are 2 CAT to gut on FZ1. One of em is below, in the union pipe.... BAD CAT!

3-way catalyzer for excellent environmental friendliness

The structure of the catalytic converter in the center section of the up-slanted muffler has been changed. Three honeycomb catalyst units are positioned in the exhaust pipe in a way that the heat of the exhaust is used to maximum effect to increase the catalyzing function.

motoWorld have wad. i asked them b4. the normal touring wind shield cost $120. the height adjustable one is $150. but they dun have racing wind shield or double bubble shield for fazer 6.

wanna try equip-x or regina? i also like planning to change in near future...

some drivers jus have no concerns for us riders behind... anyhow shoot their stupid water and only care to wipe their windscreen while travelling at high speed... i also kana b4, but i high beamed + super horn him! really kns ppl...

but, there are also some considerate drivers, only clean their shield when at stationary e.g. road junction...
