is tank bras really a neccessity? any comments about this? or any feedbacks from current users?

Personally, I prefer my tank to be protected from scratches and covered as well. And with Bagster's, I've an option to use its tank bags which I personally like because most of them utilises the clips that can be attach to the tank bra/protector.

Pros and cons, to each his own.

I don't blame people who doesn't show courtesy, they just didn't get taught on how to do so.

oh , i cant do that cause one side of my is HID so if i dual it as the mod show, it will take too much on my batt:)

oic... HID... u mod it yourself? with a special holder?

yup...if not u can call back motoworld ask for choi...

ok bro... thanks!

i think i know why liao... the mechanic (i duno his name)... he did fix the check valve pipe for me... :faint:

is tank bras really a neccessity? any comments about this? or any feedbacks from current users?

yes bro... to me...

1st, tank bra can avoid scratches brought to your beloved beautiful tank...

2nd, it's v useful on tourings where you can strap your tank bag on...

3rd, you can rest on your tank with ease! :D

its not a neccessity. Accessories rarely are.

like bro recko sezs..pros and cons. I too go for protection. With a tankcover your 'bling' factor goes down but ur tank gets protected and u have the option of a secure tankbag (tested n proven)

i prefer this to tankpads or clear stickers cos it's removable. if your're in to CF theres always that option as well.

Cause of the alarm loh. FZ1 can last about 12mths - 15 mths.

If put alarm, will reduce ur batt life span to 70% - 80%.

I got my bike last Feb, then around Nov change my first batt, then this year July change again. Before i decide to remove my alarm. Had enough liao.. !!

Actually get a grip lock also gd. At least u dun need to scare that u forget to remove the lock before riding off.

yeah my previous ride also drain my batt damn fast.....btw wats a grip lock ?

if possible can take a pic of your hose routing from the rider seat down to the chain ?

i had mine done at MW and that mechanic just route from the rider sit directly down to my swing arm (i.e now the tube is SIDE by SIDE with my rear shock, worst ! he even cable tie it to my rear shock spring ! ) wat the.......

after that i met one of my friend who has a fz1 with scott oiler too, went back to MW and ask them to re-route the whole thing like my friend's bike, the mechanic say, "if you want this way you should bring ur friend bike down also mah !, different mechanic haver their own way of routing"

i was like....kaoz ! true u have a point...but cable tie my oiler tube to the spring of my rear shock ??!!!! :faint:

my prev scott was routed that way for 2yrs.. no issues.

you dun need the mech to re-route, easy enuff job can DIY, jus keep in mind the swingarm and shock movements, you don't want it to snap during a ride.

my 2cents, dusnt really matter how its routed as long as the connectors are tight and the tube goes to the rear sprocket.

try set it to 2. Dat used to work for me. When it was new I set it to 3 but after a while it became too much.

It'll still drip at idling.. air is still getting pushed in. Drip will depend on the resevoir setting..1..2..3..8(have 8 meh?) minimal drip wen eng stop, dats just gravity.

if ur set at 1 or 2 and there's a big pool when u idle then u have an issue
