hi guys, i installed the remus carbon fiber hexacone abt 3wks ago n lately i encounter some discolouring on the carbon fiber sleeve. can i check if anyone encounter this problem ?

funni... it didn't happen to me yesterday... i went in at 12pm via 2nd link... all i do is to off engine at the booth... they kinda sub standard...

on my way back near my house liao nearly got into accident with a stupid silver cabbie... i ride all the way follow him until he drop his customers, then i bang on his window and had a heated argument with him... nb me such a big bike with such bright backside, he dare to say he didn't see me...

 

so now, anyone knows how do i lodge a complaint to the company?

i had also encountered such driver while turning right with signal on into a car park. bloody hell that wretched car speed up and went against the flow of traffic, cut me by the right side.What i saw was a woman on the steering wheel.:angry:lucky i never turn right sooner or else i would be pinned down under the wheels.if given a chance i rather choose to pin her down:D

i wrote an freaking long email to primere taxi & cc the traffic police to complain lo... i've yet to check my personnal email yet cus my office blocks it... anyway, i did received a auto-reply from primere saying that they will response back in 5 working days... today is the 1 working day...

how can you forgive and forget? some taxi drivers if u forgive and forget, they will take it as granted that we bikers r small in size, pay little road tax, and can be bullied anyhow without having the concern of our lifes...

 

best thing is that, my bike arse is so big and bright and yet he can claimed that he didn't see me...

 

i wonder if next time their children rides too... especially those riding without their knowledge... and they buang into their own children... see how they feel...

yes i tried maxima extra.. tried 10W40 & 15W50 before... 10W40 is better for SG roads and tourings... 15W50 is better for racing or if you wan smoother engine...

10W40 is better for racing, as it's a lighter weight and will place less load on your engine. U change your oil after your thrash it hard.

 

15W50 is better for long run as it is a heavier weight and will last longer than a 10W40. Downside is that your engine will feel heavier, and your mileage will decrease.

 

Both oils will make your gear changes seem smooth.

 

Have used both. 15W50 is still smooth after 4000+km while 10w40 will start to feel notchy after 3000km. With the 15W50, I get about abt 215km before reserve, while using the 10W40, I can get up to 230km.

Icic... I'm using the 15w50 now, previously using Motul's 10w40, felt very different after the change, smoother on gear change, engine sound quieter too. Let's see how long the quietness is going to last... hehe...

Oh ya, pls dun quote me on what I've just mentioned on Motul and Maxima cuz I forgot to mention that previously I was using Motul's 7100 10w40 for around 7500km, so that's why I felt that it's smoother when it's changed to new engine oil...

Engine oils are more or less the same across brands for a given weight, if you're running your bike on the streets normally. You're not racing, so you don't have to worry too much about the nitty gritty of oil facts like shear strength, etc etc etc.
