Does it make a great difference to the sound & power?

Cos wanna to send mine for this surgery procedure & then install a after market slip-on.

Do i really need a PCIII after?

I have already make an appointment for the surgery early next month.

Any bro care to share your experience??

hey bro, yah they didnt wanna change my eo i think they wanted to "save cost" fxxxk up lah.. then i told them that my eo leak damn long already.. so they did top it up for me..

 

anyway i got this query.. is there anyone else who's digital meter is in MPH and not KM/H ?

 

1. Turn ignition position to ON.

2. Press and hold select about 10 secs max.

3. Done.

 

if yours is a GEN 2,just press select for a few secs and it will change from MPH to KMH,and vice versa.

 

okie.. tomorrow morning go try.. for a moment i was panicking.. i really thoguht my meter need to recalibrate!

 

yups... and also when u change ur battery or plug out ur battery wires for some time... everything will be reset back...

Hi bro. Removing the Exup valve & catalyst will not only make a difference to the sound n power. Your bike FC will be affected too. As for the PCIII, its good to have it installed after those modifications so as to optimize the performance of your ride. Hope u will get the beast out of your bike once u got tat modifications done. oh man, i just realised my folly, the bike travelled 53km already instead of the earlier mentioned 33km (because of the meter)

 

anyway, my bike is still leaking eo every now and then. According to the workshop 'it's the leftover' from the previous filter. But though there are obvious improvement to the leakage, i'm still quite concern.

 

I probably will be sending my bike for oil change and some thorough inspecting and servicing to see if there are any major leaks or damage to the bike.

no la... my bike's birthday is on the 9th of March...

yesterday is the 12th installment... 12th installment =/= birthday...

yeah... my scorpions are making their own sweet time to crawl over from UK sia... from UK to middle east to south east asia to thailand to malaysia to singapore... hahahahaha...

bro, my suggestion, i think you should check where is the exact area that is leaking EO, then target on that area...

if it leak from the filter, i would suggest u go clean up your bike especially that area and try to monitor again...

ya man i'm going to him this sunday for eo and spark plug change. Ya previously when i went to view the bike it was set at miles. I dunno was it on purpose or intentional.

 

Anyway, does any bros here know the spark plug model for denso on fazer?

Bike will run cooler with the cat removed.

No need pc3 unless u mod your airbox and replace the stock air filter to K&N filter.Remember remove the exup cables and block your AIS system to reduce any back-fire. Cheers!!

gonna monitor the fc for a while.

hit reserve ard 230? sometimes more.

yah.. precisely that's why im really concerned.. i top up full tank ytd... and up till today i travelled about 140km. my meter only left 2 bar and sometimes it will flash 3 bar..

Mine with GIVI 2xV35 & 1xE52, Bagster for tank, Motovation bar-end, fork slider & light guards, GYTR frame slider, Phantom cruiser pillion foot rest, extended front fender, SPY 2-way alarm, GenMar handle bar riser & Rifle screen.

 

I shall hold back the PCIII for now till the exup & cat remove, wanna to feel the connection first before the decision. How much is this PCIII ? My mechanic advise me no need if only for S'pore street riding!! So why the hack am i riding a litre bike then?

I have just ordered Leo Vince GP Pro & K&N. Anybody has any review on this slip-on?

How am i going to mob the air-box, which part? Do i need to re-route the cables?

How about Ivan's FCE & then finish off with a 16T front?

 

I am still new to my Fizzy, thus i have tons of questions?

my FZ1 only 180km to reserve.

 

Mine blink blink only at 210km, may be i am still light with my hand.

Thus average i get 15.50 km per litre.

Best i have got 16.37 km per litre.

Worst i have got 12.78 km per litre.

 

I also strongly belief the idling while engine warming up during the first start also contribute to the consumption.

R on the meter indicates bike is on reserve...i forgot the figures for the litres of reserve:faint:

 

but what I can tell u is that reserve can clock 88.4km till dry.

btw, it's good not to let ur whole tank turn dry b4 u pump la... it's bad the "health"...

go reserve 50km better top up liao... at least...

exactly .. i'm quite amazed such a short distance from my house to sengkang (usually take me 5 mins on my bike) actually cost me $7 when it's off peak hours!

i got around 18.5km/l... and my engine is still stock...

i can't imagine when my scors are in...

not sure bro... that's the bad thing about getting a 2nd hand bike... i dunno what did the previous owner did to the bike..

i'm still monitoring my FC now.. but i know i definitely will not be able to hit more than 230.

I will be doing a major servicing this weekend and following that i will monitor again..
